Took this pic before quilting. It is now quilted. I followed the "Tutorials" for the meandering. First time trying and I'm tickled I got it done.

Linny, it is adorable in every way. the colors are wonderful together. The name of the technique on the flowers has escaped me. I always ooh and aah when I see it used. anxious to see the finish.
peace

Thanks ube. The sight I took inspiration from calls it "watercolor".

Linny do we get to see a picture of it after you quilted it?

What are some of everyones favorite colors and or fabrics? Do most of you like scrappy or do you prefer matching fabrics? Anyone up to chatting?

I like scrappy and not overly bright so a lot of that comes back in what I usually make for this swap.

My WH quilted. Nothing elaborate but I got it done. I was so intimidated to even try it at all (meandering). A new sewing machine is in my future. I think that would help a lot.

I looked at a couple examples of double needle meandering and I liked the look, but do not have that capability. For a minute I thought I could quilt a double line, but I had a few puckers so thought I best leave it alone. I now know that if starch is used it alleviates the puckering. Does that sound correct?
