Sounds lovely, Red! Babies are the most adorable things this side of heaven! And aunties are there to do the spoiling

Oh dang, It is all wrapped and ready to send. I am sorry, I was in a hurry to get it to the happy couple since baby is due in a couple weeks. I went in halves with my sis for a exceptionally nice car seat with a high safety rating. I will probably be making more gowns and clothing. But, for now, I am done.

Lucky you Red on the car seat. DH and I bought a brand new one for DG when she out grew her toddler car seat and just a year later when her younger sister out grew the infant car seat, we bought another one just like it. The girls are only a little over a year apart. Of course, it made great first birthday gifts. (You know, safety and all.)

Its amazing how safe baby carseats are nowadays. We always buy the ones with the highest safety ratings too. I've heard stories of babies surviving car accidents with barely a scratch because of the good carseats. Definitely worth the money!

I have been making a few extra summer blocks for my quilt. I have so many summertime themed quilt ideas, it was really hard to choose which blocks to make to swap out. Five sets just didn't seem enough, lol! I'm getting excited for getting all our goodies back and to see all your beautiful blocks in person!

I had better stop making extras now and see what I get first!
