That is the cutest little soup-candy can I have ever seen MaryT. Wonder if my little great grand daughters would like that, hmm bet so. Hope you don't mind if I steal your idea to make a couple. Not sure about the polls ladies, wouldn't want you to work that hard during the holidays. Takes alot of time you know keeping track and making those counts very accurate. lynnie, my husband use to make these for a craft show when he lived in the Dakota's, still has the pattern so that's where I got it. I'd sure need his help to be able to take orders but I'll ask. Each one is a little different, some are pine, birch, oak, walnut, etc. just whatever wood he has. Sanded, paint on a little facial expression and 2-3 coats of poly. I've had mine for a few years and he's always stands underneath the tree and protects it. Glad everyone seems to like our little Rudolph. Have to get his little bell on today and they'll be ready to mail.

Well, my ornaments are being delayed again. I went to Walmart yesterday to pick up red and green narrow ribbon. Would you believe those were the only empty ribbbon bins???? Was going to go to Joanns tomorrow, forgetting I have the 2 teen DGKs here for a weekend of helping me out. They need to earn money (want to earn money), and I am the likely candidate for $$$$extraction. So it will have to wait till Monday or Tuesday.

Everyone stop and listen. No reason to keep fusing and trying to convince Jaba and Marrytoddliz to send that Reigndeer and Can ornament to you. They are all mine and I know this becuase I have a direct line to Santa. I am married to him. LOL

Love those ornaments ladies.

I hear all of you loud and very clear. Hubby says they are for sell. I'm still laughing Pat625 and probably will be for the rest of the night. Thanks I really needed that tonight!! Getting real sick of those damn tomatoes after 11 more quarts today. It's snowing here right now and the fireplace is burning!! 28 and dropping, Lord help me.

rofl, pat that is so funny! OK My mind is warped.

My husband had the same idea about the cans, he is now in full production mode making halloween treats! He wants to hand them out to all the little trick or treaters that come here!

Last year we had well over 100, when we ran out of candy he started giving out my collection of happy meal toys. I was cool with it but I know the kids will be back expecting good treats. If he hands out the little cans filled with candy, next year we will have them lined up at the door!

maryt you better start saving alot of newspaper, wad it up and stuff those cans, then they can see their candy treat on top. What are you doing with all that tomato sauce??? BIG party at your house huh? I can bring the onions from the garden and have lots of burger from a beef. Spagetti sauce in a big pot... Still laughing about the once a year santa!!!!
