Ooh, those snowflakes are really pretty! I'm afraid what I'm making is going to disappoint someone. Does anyone like primitive style ornies?

Anastasia,
I love both ornaments, but if I had to choose, I'd take the teal one!

yeah, me too! I'm much better at quilting than I am at doing some of the other stuff! But, they're handmade!

I love all the ornaments everyone is posting. My cross-stitch is done on the embroidery machine; arthritis prevents me from doing handwork anymore. Since I live near Amish country in PA, there are lots of primitive ornaments around. DIL loves primitive snowmen and has her house decorated in the primitive style.

Those are cool Grann 6, much different from mine. Love the thread ornaments from above, those are sure pretty as well. I got mine all rinsed out and flattened. They are still drying. I sold a set of six which makes me thrilled. I bet if I put that glitter on them while they are drying, that would even spark them up more because of the glue residue in them. Also, I don't have my angels all done, but they are stitched out. Have to decide which ones to send and how many of them. Wonder if my receiviers have a special color. Hmmm, have to double check thru the thread to see.
Yep Elizabrat, I am selling them. have to earn money to go to Montana for Thanksgiving. It is my daughters birthday on the 22nd of November which once every 8 years, her birthday lands on the same day. It is her birthday wish to be in Montana for the holiday so working towards that. Actually, they do not take all that much thread and when you are using the 50wt cotton thread, it is not bad. It just takes 45 minutes to stitch them out and the stabilizer is the more expensive part. never knew glue could cost so much when it is laid out in a roll. LOL) Yep, I did a purple one to just see how it looked and daughter wants that orange one, her favorite color.

The gold thread on the angels is from Superior. I picked it up on sale last year from their website. It is a sliver gold metallic and it stitches so perfect. I tried to use the other metallic I have and it is miserable. I was so shocked. It shines so pretty. I am hoping tonight (inbetween quilting group, tomatoes, and stitching them out) that I get to finish the angels. I would love to get mine in the mail in the next couple days so I don't have this committment staring at me. I love this swap, I just get to stressing over time with so much to do and so little time to do it in. Yep, I am OCD and love it.
