I'm not much of a pastel person myself, love warm colors....oranges, reds, yellows, lime green. But would be fun to do a pastel runner for someone who loves pastels. I have some great ideas for a table runner, just would be nice to know what size my partner would like or needs. Just have to wait.....sigh

I have a great bright lavender and orange fabric all picked out for my next project - sounds springy to me.

As for chocolate - nothing beats a chocolate covered coffee beans.

Got myself a bottle of Winter Ice and a bottle of Go-Go Red wine this past weekend - I'm set for what ever comes my way.

It really is a bottle of red wine - it's the name of it. The winery had such incredible wines - most all grapes grown right here in Minnesota. It's got a light sweet taste to it. YUM

Winter Ice is the best dessert wine - sweet white wine - delicious with rich dark chocolates or fruit and cheese.

Besides jaba and nancia who else will be joining us - I want to make sure that I bring enough wine to the party.

Well, I had to give up the wine, but I'd love to come and share in the chocolate or whatever else you're planning. I can even bring something to the party.

Vanogay we could go skip the wine and just sniff it out of their glasses like snifff sniiiiiffff gross them out they can give it up too! or just a little bit.. you know like that water glass just a water glass full and that is it. I always loved Napa wines myself. They are the best richest wines. In Ca we are kind of wine snobbers. The central coast wines are sweeter in general I think and not my taste at all. Give me a Sterling Vineyards crisp dry chardonnay or perhaps a red wine by Far Niente their Cab is pretty darn good. Rasberry overtones.. yum. ok off the wine. and chocolate blick. now that plate of carmels your passing around well yes yes I might! um why are we partying? (like we need an excuse).

did any of you decide to do side swaps? I am looking at all the booms and think one swap is all I can do here this round. I did start my quilt for quilters blocks. little like breaking the ice, at least I have begun.

Ha, not all Californian's are wine snobs... Give me a bottle of Boone's Farm Strawberry Hill, I'm good. I really don't care for wine, I just like the warm soft buzz I get from half a glass of it! Hard liquor kills me and beer fills me up but a glass of wine warms me... Don't care what it taste's like, I can always add some 7up to it and manage to drink it!

I actually did find a white that I really liked (with out adding 7up) I think it was a Pinot Grigio a very light sweet flavor~ OK back to sewing! now that I have totally destroyed my image~

Maryt no image destroyed and "brat" you can sniff, I'm sure the rest of us won't mind at all. Trust me I'm sure it will be all gone. Couldn't get mail merge to wrok today at all, writing out all those addresses for the new Boom swaps, I can barely type.....better go get wine or vodka tonic sounds pretty good right now. yep, that's the plan.
