You can ship when both of you are done or 1 is near done is what I was told by Anastasia. I shipped because Liz22 was shipping within a day or two, so I should be getting it soon. She just wants you to let her know when you ship for sure with conf.#. At least that's what she told us if this helps.

ok I was reading an email that is mass sent by Luanna Rubins from E quilter and it hit a cord. Funny how things do that. I swear that was like reading my mind. I am going to post this little blurb hoping I dont destroy any copy write things since I am stating who originally wrote it but if I did beat me. I just wanted to share it. I bet I am not alone. it was part of a segment she wrote in her blog on why women quilt and how making quilts for say Hurricane Sandy or breast cancer play a roll too in our artisist world here goes:

Life is messy, and much of it is out of our control, but when you make a quilt you have time to sort it all out in your head, and by the time your healing quilt is finished, you've received a healing in the process of making the quilt. As women's confidence and freedom has progressed, we have given ourselves permission to use quilting and sewing as Art Therapy. Instead of feeling guilty about making art, we embrace the process as a journey of self discovery.

For me this is personal. I use it for personal healing. And never found such a great way to express it. its a process. Its funny cause most of the time when I get the flyers in email I skip the reading part and go right to what are the new fabrics today! or whats on sale.. now maybe I might read a bit more of what she has to say. guess the title jumped out at me.

ok onto fun exciting things. a balmy 64 today!!! tada!!!! oh yeah. And nothing to do but boom blocks or work on a Christmas quilt so boom it is. Christmas can wait another day til all those babies are out of the house. I think maybe we will see some pics here soon from VANOGAY...guess she is bored silly attending some stupid quilt show. yeah bored to pieces. if she shares what she bought there it might be worth it.. a little of this.. a lot of that.. some of this.. its a candy store for the eyes and well the bins isnt it? I head straight for the hand dyes. oh only 30.00 a piece? 20x30? SURE I need that one. sucker here for unique.

i am not telling my dh where you live! brat, he would leave me in an instant and run to your trees! he is a stumpy, after all. i remember sooo many camping trips and wonderful nights spent in the great outdoors! then we moved to texas, in august, with a baby, and dh wanted to go out around el paso and camp out. fry my bacon, more like it!! i was willing in a temperate, or cold weather zone, but i lose my voice and ability to breathe if it gets too hot. but big forested areas? i'm happy as a bear in the woods looking for a sunoco! (don't tell me they really do that in the woods!) lol, ok, i know they do! trouble is we now have cats and dogs and whither thou (me) goest, so goest them. i was taking the dogs for a walk, hubby away, fence down, again!, and i looked back, and there was simon, in line and going for a walk with his peeps. he is such a cooool cat! but i turned around and brought the girls home. no way was i exposing him to other dogs and automobiles. if he should leave this world i want it to be because he used up every last instant of his time here, and not the result of an attack or hit'n'run. he does go out by himself and i know he crosses the street, but i just don't want it to be because i led him into danger. i can't keep him in because of the pet door. (can't call it a dog door. it is an equal opportunity pet door. cats are already miffed enough they don't have a uniformed doorman!) and he has lived his life indoor/outdoor. he had to live in the house with the rabbit for about a month and by the time we let him out all of our screens had been ripped to hula skirts! it was an apartment area and very little traffic, all dogs on leashes and lovely park land for him to play. he was so darn spoiled. was? did i say was? IS! yes, and that's the way it is! today he will sleep in his special window bed while i sew d-m's runner. can't wait to get it mailed! then have only one swap to do and i'll be on my own and get my own stuff done for awhile! don't NOBODY tempt me with any more fun things! sheesh! lol, i'm just a girl who cain't say no!

brat, sometimes i despair we were separated at birth! the first, and only , quilt show i've been to had a lovely booth with all kinds of hand-dyed and gold overlaid african fabrics. exotique! i had seen these fabrics on line and they are even nicer in person. i haven't used them, but i do get them out, put on my bib, and try not to get the drool on them. they feel so rich. i love fabric. mmmmmmm, 8-)

Woo-hoo!!! I love squishy packages!! Yours didn't make it in time for today's mail; the rugrats I'm babysitting this week aren't allowing me to sew during the day. But It'll for sure be bound tonight and ship tomorrow!!

The summer of my 16th year was special for me - I spent a whole summer working in a youth conservation corps group in Northern Minnesota; it was my dream job at the time. We lived in tents set up on platforms for the entire summer - no electricity except what the generator produced at the mess hall - we had shower rooms with skylights - no evening showers - no lights; we clearcut land for the forest service; we cleared out beaver damned creeks and small rivers; we pruned trees and we took turns going out with the water conservation officer to test lake water - we had to port the canoe from lake to lake in certain areas. We worked hard - it was an experience of a lifetime and I think every youth in our country could benefit from a similar program - work for tuition. It would be a win win for all involved. I learned to appreciate the outdoors and all it's glory a long time ago; oh brat let me come live in your woods for a summer.
