Got a neat tropical table runner from QuiltingKrazy today. Included with it was a mouse pad with the center of my runner duplicated on the pad and a pad of pineapple post-its. Took a picture, will download it from the camera and post later. Thanks again QuiltingKrazy - I will really enjoy my tropical vacation when we sit at the table with the runner in the middle!

Thought I'd share the pictures of the runner I made for Vanogay. Glad she likes it.

Oh how cute! Makes me think of the cartoon character Rainbow Bright for some reason. I love the back too!

Default no! no! no!

Not rainbow brite.. think beach towel colors.. I always loved those striped bright colors on beach towels that is what it reminds me of! quiltingkrazy that is a nice quality worked runner. I am sure Vanogay can appreciate no only how pretty that is but the nice work you put out. I would use that for summer, for birthdays its of those timeless patterns I think.

QUILT LECTURE 101:

I hope everyone remembers to do their BEST work. Not everyone is great not everyone is a less than great but all in all when you send send the best you can do. Something you would put out on your table. If it needs tweeking before you finish it tweek it. You will be proud of what you do and proud to display what you receive back brought to you by lectures of the week on the quilting board.

Gosh, I'll keep my thoughts to myself then. Personally, I loved Rainbow Bright as a kid...well I wasn't a kid I guess since I was about 11-12 when it came out. I have no idea why I liked it though except she was always so happy! Oh, I know what it was, it was her horse Starlight! Who doesn't love a horse with a rainbow tail & mane?

Do my best? You spoil all my fun. I thought I'd just throw something together.

Oh, that reminds me (don't ask why).....anyone ever make confetti quilts? I was looking at Accuquilt dies and apparently they make a confetti die. That made me think of all the confetti size pieces I have leftover when I use my Accuquilt cutter. What does everyone do with them? The answer to this could completely change my quilting life! Noriko Endo uses these little pieces to make nature quilts on her LAQ machine. OMG are they beautiful too! If you haven't seen them, check them out. So my point here is, if anyone has done this or wants to try it, let's talk & maybe we could try some mug rugs or something to swap out & see what works!
