Ooh, fruity drinks makes me think of Garth Brooks...

"Bring me two pina coladas, I gotta have one for each hand! Let's set said with Captain Morgan, and we will never leave dry land. Hey! Troubles, I forgot em, buried them in the sand!"

Ooh, how about some Kenny Chesney? He's cute too!

"No shirt, no shoes, no problems. Blues, what blues? Hey I forgot em! The sun and the sand and a drink in my hand with no bottom!"

Oh I like that song also the Jimmy Buffett version isnt too bad either on the sands, relaxation and a cool drink.. lol.. omg dont ever go to a Jimmy Buffett concert unprepared. All I can say. Those people in the seats next to you? they go there at 8 am when the parking lot opened and well got into the mood early early early!

I was a generation too old for you rainbow brite people. My daughter who is now 21 loved those colored ponies those were her thing they were already vintage when she got to them .. purple with hearts on their hind quarters? lol stuff like that. me no rainbow brights. barbie wasin but not in my house. We had madam alexander dolls to play with. never real dolls.. and no I am not into them now. I adore teddy bears those specialty ones hand made or best yet vintage STEIFF omg love those. I digress sorry I am not a rainbow bright person but do recall the 70's beach towels lol and so speak your peace we all grew up differently girly.

oh I am more " I got my toes in the sand, my ..s in a chair, my beer in my hand life is good today.. life is good today." there you go my secret is out. I like just like peaceful and relaxed. I can even skip that beer in my hand if it comes with an iced water in my hand....

Hey Linda! Me...you....that beach in my profile pic. Whatcha say? Gotta go early though. They only let a certain number of people in at a time & it gets crowded! Went there in 2007. Got there early early. We left by 10am so some others could come in & we could drive up to the north shore. That was a NICE trip!

just don't bump my arm and we are good to go!

our feelings are hurt!! kenny and i were going to invite y'all to come to the caribbean with us and y'all are goin' ahead and partying without us? well, lucky for me i know how to keep a tennesseeian man happy, 'cause everything is hotter, when the sun goes down!!

my daughter is into strawberry shortcake--the first ones. i had a friend(adult) we called nancy sparkles and she had a perfect rainbow bright costume. she died a few years ago, but you can bet she's keepin' the angels laughing!! keep sparklin', nancy!! <3

I lived overseas during the end of the 60s into the 70s. Missed alot of what you are talking about - plus had boys, so they didn't always go for cutsie horses with multi colored tails and manes. Oh, to have a girl. Had to wait until the boys married to get my girls (DILs) and then each of them had a girl. They each had a boy as well. Again, I'm missing out on alot of their lives as we live between each of them - a days ride either way to visit. Wish we could go more often.

Yeah my one grandchild lives in Oregon with her mother and her mother isnt too interested in having her chat with me. She lets her chat with my X and his wife because he sends extravagent gifts.. me I am close to my son so therefore not going to be close to her daughter. Sad. I have never met her. Cute little tiny blonde girl with long hair and glasses. She is 7 now. I have hope the other two of my children have a couple I would love to play Grandma for real. I had the two boys first and so prayed for a little girl. Hubbies brothers had 5 boys between them. They were from a family of 4 boys. So when I found out i was pregnant with my lil girl? OMG I tossed all that boy stuff FLING and bought bright colored fish pictures in tropical colors, made her tropical quilts and bumpers, oh bright fuschia teal cushions for the rocker. and the clothes.. omg the clothes I bought.

Onto things like Tropical Runners tick tock tick tock time to sew if you have not. I pray no one will end up disappointed and not receive a runner. Please PM me an update if you have not sent and tell me your status on sewing/sending. Thanks!

last but not least was thinking we sit here Dustysmomma and Nancia and any of you who want to join us!

I am turning 36 on the 9th, not prepared at all!!!! I don't know why this one is getting to me, turning 30 or 35 didn't. But I remeber the orignial Strawberry Shortcake, my 5th birthday was Strawberry Shortcake, and My little Pony, it has gotten a makeover and my girls play with them now. I will go with Brat and drink my PBR (Patt's Blue Ribbon) listening to Zac Brown band. The movie theater lounge (21 and over only) used to have PBR on tap and it was so good, otherwise give me a miller lite. I don't do fruity or mixed drinks and ocassionally a glass of wine. My dream vacation is to live a Corona commercial for a week.
