I think my board name is fine; it's a "reminder" of where it came from.

I need to order tags... the cheapest I've found is $12.50 for 30 small tags (ribbon size). I really don't want anything bigger than that...

Well.. I was gonna respond with something constructive.. but I'm tired. I got out of work early today. Everyone got let go at 8. But the 5 of us rockstars, we stayed til 10. Lemme tell you why.

So there was like.. 22 of us or so that started in the past week. Of those 22 they picked 5 of us who stood out as catching on quickly, doing a good job, and just generally being.. awesome... or something.. whatever. Noticable in a good way. So we got pulled to learn some more processes that the others will not. So we opted to stay later, to show our dedication you know.. brownie points. So while we were hanging out the trainer, who is basically just beneath our boss, was telling us how we were selected because they want us to become permanent employees and be trained in everything and just rock it all out. And that she plans to make sure we keep moving forward and stay on the radar so that can happen.

Sooo that's the plan.. and the news.. and now I'm sitting here trying to stay awake and not getting anything done.....*sigh*.

I have the internet ! I have the internet! it comes and goes its driving me crazy. Takes a bit of getting used to this winter stuff. Lets see MrsAJ that is very very pretty/ Immemother that umbrella fabric is so cute. who makes it? I can see we all need a f4 of it and when say the April showers DQ swap goes we can all trade something from the same fabric!

ok that is not a snowman.. a duck? a winter duck? just ducky.
Anastasia, good news maybe?? sounds like it is hopeful. We all know how smart you are kid. Of course they would want you

Marybeth and Jan, FINISHED AGAIN? I am NOT competting with you. I tried to keep up with them during the boom swap. failed miserably but they were good incentive to push push push. I get tired you guys just hearing how quick you are. Like do you eat wheaties?

Trees right after Thanksgiving? hum. I do a 18 foot garland on the center beam. And hang all my glass ornaments so the cats cant get them. I am going to decorate all the surfaces however that I can. who needs to eat on that table right? it looks so good with snowmen and ornaments rolling at their feet and.. oh yeah cats. I have this waterline I call it with the kitties. Just like having toddlers. Can't put itthat low unless you want it played with oh oh and I love the little ones pic with the snowmen. ADORABLE. I also called my son Zander. Zander mander pander bear dont ask me how he got that but well his nick name growing up. Now he choses Alexander. And my lil girl she wasalways Gena, sweetpea now she wants Genavieve only. Oh well excuuuussse me. GENA. love to irk her doing that.

well today I was dilegently trying to nap when i have this crazy dream someone is asking for Steve and saying someone was shooting turkeys and then there is loud knocking at the back door and there is one of the work guys saying get Steve billybob is shooting turkeys. MY TURKEYS!!! I got Steve so quick the friggen drunk was sitting outside his RV and says he dont kill no bird. blood down the side of his trailer, rope, shell casings. nope he didnt shoot no bird. Steve came home said no evidence I said call the sherrif. So he did amazingly the man got arrested. No shooting 'birds' without permits. AND THEY COME HERE INTO THE PARK TO ESCAPE being shot in the forest. I feed those darned turkeys. Broke my heart. Those 12 are my babies. i go outside and they come running ..

on a quilty note: one of my partners is not posting. At all. One is posting regularly. I think those quilts your making me all of you are marvelous . I need several so send away send away. I dont want to wait. So those first say 15 can come to me. Thats not toooo greedy. I am going to catch up on the mystery train and then whip out my doll quilt. I am winging it with my one parnter and set to go with the other. Beautiful fabrics lining my sewing table delft almost in coloring... my dq's will have a long walk getting home.

ok.. I guess I can mindlessly type something about me.

I have 1 rottweiler and 2 psychotic kittens. I used to show dogs in conformation and obedience, and trained in tracking and carting but didn't have the time and energy to get into protection work. Oh and I have a betta fish named Lt Shinytail (bf named it).. and I have an amazing man though he doesn't currently live with me, that's a sports nut but we're both Cowboys all the way baby. So.. luckily for me.. we both like blue.. and greys and whites and soft greens.. aka.. beach colors. But I don't like the whole beach cottage look. It's entirely too shiny happy for us. haha. We're both of the grouchy sort.

I also have a huge love of chocolate brown with mauve or dusty blue or turqoise. I don't have that going on in my house... YET.. hehe What I do have is super comfy overstuffed rather old beige furniture. Except for the GIGANTIC Couch of Napping, which is a weird yellow corduroy but the most nap inducing couch you'll ever find. The only way to avoid it is to sacrifice someone else to it. I have a dark wood coffee table that has a old world kind of map inlaid into it and brown metal scrollwork for everything else on it. I have a medium dark round dining table with a slate top and black wrought iron everything else. I have medium brown window shutters, beige carpet, brown bookcases, and about the only thing with any color is my rug, and that is blue and white and black and ... coral? I dunno. I love it, the cats love it, it's rather old but best darned $60 I spent on ebay I tell ya what.

Pretty sure I already said in my bio that basically i like blues, whites, silvers, greys, blacks, purples, etc. that kind of thing. Chocolate brown, cream.. whatever. I don't decorate.. like.. at all. haha. I have 2 pictures up, they're both of horses and they were both gifts from my sister. And the only other thing on my wall is my gun target that's a zombie shot up with all my bullets. hehe. First time shooting souvenir.

Oh.. where was I going with that? I dunno. On my table, when I'm not using it for sewing, or feeding hordes of relatives, is a dark brown bamboo reed mat thing, on which i put a boat shaped dish filled with river rocks and blue ocean scented candles. I have matching placemats with tthat. Well actually the thing I put under the dish is the placemat, I just stole it to be the center table topper

I don't decorate for christmas, mostly because I'm lazy, and also I don't have any room. I would have room if my dog hadn't come up paralyzed over the summer and now he can't live where he used to live in another room downstairs.. he's smack in the corner of my dining room.. aka takes up 1/4 of my dining room. another 1/4 is my sewing area/table. So he is occupying the spot that a tree might fit, assuming I wanted to give the lunatic kittens something to destroy... they would. You know how in movies and whatnot, or maybe you've done it yourself.. I know I have... where you go through a doorway and you run through it, leap, and slap the wall above it, just to see if you can? well.. my cats do that for everything in my house. They race through it, and they Parkour off of everything and literally reach out and slap things that should be too high for them, just to say they did it. I should enter them into some Parkour contests cause man they got moves. It often involves launching off of my head unsuspectingly though.. read "as I'm drifting off to sleep on the couch of napping" .. friggin ninjas. At least the fish is quiet.

One Christmas right when I came out of the hospital, I was in a wheelchair and a friend decided I needed cheering up and brought in a huge real Christmas tree. It was beautiful. I had no way to vacuum or clean around it but it ws lovely. I was wheeling into the livingroom from the kitchen and happened to look at the tree as I was moving. There at eye level was my cat napping on the branches inside. almost gave me a heart attack. I said absolutely nothing and prayed. My tree was full of glass expensive ornaments and all I could think was it was going to be just like a movie.. slam into the ground nightmare. lucky for both of us she woke up eventually and got down without knocking anything over. but that was an AGHHHH moment for me. Since then its been ornaments on the beam. Safe where I like them. Has anyone noticed christmas trees do NOT smell like they used to? or is it our memories are warped by all the sprays out there that are so intense it alters what we think we should be smelling? I go outside, smell pine city. Put a tree inside, nada.
