Jaba, if your swap partner doesn't want it, she can send it to me - I'll PM my address. I'm not much into blues, but I'd take that in a heart beat! I managed to get some quilting done on my table runner today - will work more on it tonight. I'm going to get it done before Christmas or else....

WAIT QUILTER MOMMA I know your making mine! I am not picky! and Jaba you sure you have my address right because I went to the post office today and no table runner was waiting. That should be here by now! I love it the design is absolutely cool. My tablerunner that headed North to Alaska..ok no it did not should be arriving anytime now to the lucky recipient! I finished my second dq top for another swap today grand news. I think I can now focus on my second dq. My partner will be WARMING up to it soon I hope.

Kathleen just read your quote. It comes pretty close to my experiences exactly and I do try to follow through with that thought at all times.

Lets see, on the question of facing patterns on a runner if I can and have TWO pieces then they face the head and end of a table. If its one piece then it faces the side of the table so when you put it on and people are approaching the table that would be the side it faced. Of course lay it out, if you hate it turn it. See that is not keepingyou from starting at all! tada! get cutting girl get cutting!

I bought some fresh crab today for my dear one. However I never ever eat crab. So what do I serve? cocktail sauce or tarter with it? I love lobster so I always have that steamed with hot garlic butter but crab dunno.. and I am sure he wants it cold. I have some cappino sauce I could put it in but that is warmed. oh you experts tell me tell me!

jaba,

you are so creative - I think your table runner is exquisite - I have never seen that pattern and don't think I would be brave enought to tackle it - Beautiful work!

Thanks everyone for your nice comments, I sincerely appreciate them!! Sorry Brat, you weren't my partner, TamMoo you just have to have the ruler and you CAN do it. The spiral strata ruler is everything, different than a regular spiral ruler.

For any of you wanting the ruler it is a "10 degree wedge ruler". Online it's $22 to $25. They also have a 9 degree but I used the large one.

I think I have to buy that ruler! My Table Topper should be arriving today or tomorrow, I have a confirmation number but can't find it right now!

Jan, I love that beautiful Blue table topper you made! I love them all! and I saw a hint on here that sounded like me!! I like anything~ And to answer your question, I would love snowmen!

The sewing Gods have smiled on me, I am so busy, no time to think! Which is great for my budget, not so great for time management!

Does anyone else get all the stupid stupid Ads that are now giving me a headache with their constant noise! I like ads better when they were QUIET!

have a wonderful day ladies~

Glad you got some sells from your craft show and new orders. It's a win win...more cash more fabricGo to www.tucows.com and search for pop up stopper. Download to your computer and you don't get all those stupid ads. If you're on a web site that you need to have them for viewing, etc. you'll get a little note saying enable pop ups for this site, you just enter yes and then you'll get them for that web site only. Every once in awhile I get one but not very often since this handy little gadget blocks them out. There is other sites that have free downloads too I just like this one because there is no fear of virus, etc. Check it out and see if it'll work for you.
Still having trouble getting embroidery patterns to download from internet to tell my machine what to do with them and stitch them out. Any suggestions???? anybody, help SOS

Do you have a jump drive that goes with the machine? My Embroidery machine has a jump drive and a cable both. I usually use the jump drive. I am getting so many patterns I now have to organize by subject. Does the manual help at all? sometimes I can figure out what to do by following the manual, and there is always a chance that You-Tube has a tutorial for your machine, honestly most everything you want to learn how to do has a you-tube tutorial... My favorite site for getting quilting help is the Missouri Quilt Co. I love their tutorials, so easy to follow!

And you know you can call me! I am actually not the night owl I used to be, I often times get up early to do my computer time before I go to work. You know working from home has it's advantages~ Like sitting in my Jammies and having coffee while I take care of the paper work side of this business... Don't have to get dressed all day if I don't want to!

Call if you have something specific i can walk you through! I am still planning on visiting you in the spring when the snow is gone! LOL, or is it Early Summer! We should have a quilting camp at your place, doesn't that sound like fun!!!!

I still need to get moving with mine. I'm really close to being done... the main part is finished, all the applique is done (though a little crooked. We'll call it 'whimsical' lol) I just had to do a ton of ripping when I realized the pattern's measurements for the border didn't make sense, and it looked better without an inner border anyway. One side is done, I just have to rip and re-do the other side, then put together, bind, and quilt. Then it'll be on it's merry way! If I get off my butt I can have it out before Christmas!! Wouldn't that be a happy accomplishment??
