We had freezing rain last night.. that was fun.. We "ice skated" across the parking lot to our cars after work. It wasn't actually too horrible driving home and it was fine today driving. it's supposed to snow again tomorrow. So we went from like negative 14's, to 36's, now we're going back down to 3 tomorrow. January is our worst month here in Minnesota. But it's been pretty mild comparatively. I really need to move somewhere warmer. I often try to think of where to go.. I think it'd have to be somewhere still midwest because I don't want hurricanes and I dont' want earthquakes.. We get tornados here and i've seen a few far too close (one ripped through my neighborhood about 2 blocks away a couple years ago) but that's really about it. We have a pretty wide range of temps and 4 seasons. There are places that could be tons worse. But I'm sure, if I just inch a little closer to the south, maybe I can get a little longer warmer season... without the crazy storm things.. maybe one day. I'm kinda pretty sure I"m suck here for the rest of my life.

Well, there's a miserable looking line of storms heading our way in Tennessee. Could bring tornadoes too. I've been through every natural disaster there is (forest fire, house fire, tornadoes, hurricanes, earthquakes) except a tsunami - and I've seen those. That's close enough, thank you. I left early this am for the grocery and made it home before the rains started. Unloaded the car and then backed it out of the garage to get the dirt and dust at least washed off that way. It has been so cold and nasty that it was impossible to either wash or go to a car wash lately. My poor baby was awful dirty. Stay warm and safe everyone.
I'm sorry Cherrio that you haven't gotten your runner. Think positive - either your partner will finally come through or that angel will.

ladies, my partner sent a beautiful soft blue wintery runner. arrived this morn via fed ex. almost tossed it in on the table assuming it was some military thing for my son in law. It was in a tube. but being nosy I did give it the once over and it had MY name on it. Sorry for whining! The runner fits nicely on my lg farm table. I am heading to email my partner now.

Hi Donna, Thanks for the help but I can't find the place where I can do that. The software that lets me download the pics to my computer doesn't let me change the size, then when I try to import it to the QB from my PC I couldn't get it to the right size. I'm stuck.

Did you try the Picasa suggestion I posted? That's how I do mine. If you wanted to email me your outside email address, I could make a pdf tutorial and email it to you over the weekend.

Talking weather and I have to insert. MICHIGAN. We have 4 seasons, often in the same weekend!! We had below freezing temps, got lots of snow, it blew and made us miserable for a day or two, then the temps were close to 50, rained, thunder, lightening. Icey backroads, now today below freezing, wind blowing, but no snow left to blow. We've been on this roller coaster all winter. What is going on with Old Man Winter. It makes you wonder about the global warming thing.
Got my runner. Out of town so couldn't post properly. It is gorgeous!! Left the package home and have not had a chance to take a picture, but will post as soon as I can. She keeps appologizing for the runner, and I think there is no need, it is very beautiful. Blue and White, just the right size. I will post a picture as soon as I can. Thank you so much, I love it
