Great fussy cutting Kass - perfect pattern for both fabrics.
I got to pick out a few fabrics that I had thought would work on two of your F8's- and some actually do!!

First timers - reminder - we all go at our own pace. Some leap in and complete them right away, some a bit slower. As long as they are done in time - don't get nervous. But don't wait to the last minute either!!

Kass you can also use a lighter red or darker red for the background so your beautiful red Dresden's don't get lost

Glad you like it Terri, I thought about that a different red background. I was torn between having the teal blades "popping" w/ the background the same, or using a different red background and all of them showing.

Just gorgeous, both blocks Kass. Beautiful fussy cutting with those skeletons. Love the center of Terri's block. I'm very, very happy. Thanks for posting.

Glad you like it so far MJP. I need some guidance on the next step. The background should I go Tim Gunn, or Frida Kahlo?

I'd say the more plain (non lady bug) one. And if that's too out there for you choose something even more Tim Gunn. The centerpiece turned out great and the dresden is quite colorful!. I love the block.

I had to restrain my husband. He was planning how to paint skulls on those ladybugs.

The non lady bug was my first gut choice but so much of the DOD stuff was way more ............... more. So I wanted to give you the option. Non lady bug it is.
