I have always pre-washed fabrics when I put them in my stash. But since so many on here don't I do not pre-wash any of the ones I buy new so my swap partner will have some consistancy, but if I had it in my stash it most likely will be washed. I too send in a manilla envelope.

I spent a bunch of time admiring batiks on ebay and there is a seller who has some pretty darned nice ones over 300 choices for 6.99 a yard FREE SHIPPING. The free shipping got me. Nice fabric, cheaper now than connecting threads and no shipping cost or ridiculous minimal buy to get free shipping. I accidentally bought a yard from him. I think we are closer to closing here aren't we??? two more days? long long days??? lol.. patience brat patience (hah likely I will have to read the definition in the dictionary but bet my name is not next to it).

I went to Nancys Notions and did not find 1.99 batiks some pretty things but you have to buy large bundles of them which was not on the menu this week. I ordered one set from ebay of 12 and it was 24.00 so not running out to buy more right away I think. I did order from that man who sold for 6.99 a yrd and he has nice fabric. free shipping is so hard to beat. anyone else have good deals to share??

I will have to check that email I got from from Nancy's. I did not order from there as I had already gone to ebay and got mine for 2.79 a half yard.
