great idea traci ! I like the idea of either a batik only table runner or wall quilt where we can choose our own theme. Hope you get other for this idea.

I would love a swap where we use either thangles or Laundry Basket Quilts paper and do HSTs with a light and dark in each. Any size squares ok with me.

Hi Katie-

We have to be careful with the swaps so they do not require the purchase of anything, but I will check some options. Thank you for the ideas.

Two things...

Last parcel is MIA and was a partial ship (1 set of the 6 she wanted to send) due to family illness. Anyone who is ok waiting for the others to come, please PM me, else I will start the sorting so you can get to creating a masterpiece!

And two... there is a 'Not your mamm's hot pad swap' taking sign-ups thru 8/20. I know I can envision batiks on my table!! Go sign-up, she'd love to have you!

Hugs and prayers to everyone... it sure seems like there is struggle and illness surrounding us all right now.

Hopefully MIA package will arrive soon. At least she was able to send 1 set out of the 6. Send when you can. I am in no hurry right now, lot on the plate with other stuff.

I am Ok to wait a little while longer. I would like a good variety and have something from everyone so if you do decide to swap please mix mine in. I like to get a variety back and none of my own. I made extras so I already have my own blocks here.
Whatever you decide on waiting or swapping, I am good. Does the tracking number say what it is doing?

I think Traci is just waiting on 1 set of 6, the others have already been sent and received. I have a partner that has been waiting for 10 days for a doll quilt. It's been mailed to her town in IL, back to WY and back and forth again. Guess it's just traveling the USA. Anna you always get 1 of your own back in this swap, makes it easier for everyone to get more of a variety and easier for Traci to sort.

I'm fine with whatever you need to do. I'm in no rush whatsoever.

Thanks jaba! Hmmm yes sometimes it takes the grand tour and travels around. I have plenty to do so I am fine waiting. Duhhh it says in the rules one will come back. Well I'll be set and have some extra. I sometimes wonder where my head is when I read the rules.

No extra's, you've got a head start! I usually make throw pillows or pillow covers to match the quilt. Change the quilt, change the covers tada!! Adds a little bit more if you're making it for a gift too. Works for me, then I don't have all these UFO blocks in a drawer.
