Beautiful, Sewbizgirl!! Those couldn't possibly be 2.5" candies.... 5" blocks perhaps? Sweet art!

They are 4.5" blocks, and you use 2.5s for the star points. I did use my red and blue candy squares for those. Thanks!

I have my Begonias quilt basted and ready to quilt! I've decided to gift it to my sister. She graduated from a pretty prestigious, private college last week and she is the only one from my family who has followed through with a college education, so I am really proud of her. I think she will like it. She knows a gift is being made, but understands that it is a bit late.

Ditto the congrats, NZQ! Good for your sister! I'm sure she will love the quilt. Of course, we want to see it before you give it.
