Crispy and trish: I'll watch for them. No worries here. I know life gets hectic some days.

Speaking of which....I need to mail out the remaining April babies presents!

looks lovely SheriR.....I believe I see one of my squares

I really like the two rows around the square. I really never thought of that and I was trying to think of how I could make mine larger! hmmmm thanks for the idea!

Hello everyone....LOVE the chatter and that the candy squares are flying in on time!!!!!

How is your birdie quilt coming along???? love to see more pictures!

I made Kelly (dd) and Deidra (ddL) Easter pillows this year. Lots and lots of lovely buttons!!! All sewn on by my hands.
Trying to post a photo but that does seem to want to work. I will post one soon.

Hope everyone has a nice weekend, like WMUTeach said previously we had snow flurries (no accumulation) on Thursday and today we will be SUNNY and 60..... tomorrow in the 70's! Don't like the weather in Michigan just wait a minute! That is what they say here but I don't know if they really mean it during the long winter.

Today I am celebrating two boys that I love with all my heart. My son Matthew and his son Henry share the same birthday April 7, today we are having their birthday party. These two peas in a pod, light up my life and make it glow!!! They are so much alike... very loving a caring people, funny, serious, smart and very handsome. I am so lucky to have them both in my life!<3

Hope you all have a great weekend.

Barb

I had a nice surprise of b'day candies in the mail today from Aborning and WMUTeach . Quite fun.

And we have a "teach" on board with a cute sense of humor
Thanks, ladies!

so glad that everyone got their cards from me. Never know when you mail from small towns! Even my son said "who do we know from ----" Then realized it was from me!
We took a week to spend around Charleston NC - have RV friends we met on the road who now live in the area. Got to a number of museums. The Charleston Museum had a Textile Section and displayed a number of quilts that had fussy cut Chintz appliqued on them. Granted they didn't have any iron on adhesive and their stitching was tiny - but that was it. Reminds me when I don't get all my points matching!!

gramma, you are close to the Cotton Museum in Bishop. It's worth the stop off the interstate north.
hugs,
