Yeah Moonrise.....I will let you know when it arrives. Thanks
Oh! Almost forgot. Some goodies for the prize box went out this morning.
We finally got the vehicle damage check from the guy's insurance where DH's truck was rear-ended. The truck is officially in the shop being repaired. He's driving a rental car in the meantime. It's a tiny little white Hyundai ... the cheapest thing they had ... and the only thing the guy's insurance would completely cover. It's so small compared to his truck that I've been calling it a golf ball. ha ha We're still waiting to hear something on the lost income.

Ok, Im having trouble with my Birdie embrodery and could use some advise.
Even though I have tried to bury my threads, there are some laying about. Can I add fray check to hold these strays in place or will it make it too stiff and eventually wash out?
Should I use 2 layers of muslin or a thin batting on the back and embroider through both layers to hide the strays or is 2 layers too hard to sew through?
Any other ideas or recommendations you folks know?

Yes, 75 new candies, just couldn't resist 88 cents to $2.50 per quarter yard of fine quilters cotton. Am loving fairy frost pales, and red with aqua newer Mode line, as well as P&B Art Glass designs. Took a week to ship the sales...still bummed with no fabric license plate.

The rest of the May candies went out in yesterday's mail.
For the back of the birdy's quilt. I use the thinnest batting I can find. Cut yourself squares to fit your blocks. When you embroider on your block, even when you hold it up to the light, the back will not show through. To put your quilt together, use thin batting again and it will not be too thick or heavy.
I am having trouble printing the May block. One printing is way to small and the other is too big. The printer is very new and it could be that I just don't know how to use it. I have a very old printer downstairs in my sewing room along with my old computer. I will try and see what can be done with that. If I can't use that then I guess I will have to draw it myself.
Jane Quilter, I love your block. The rabbit with it's little basket is so original.

A big shout out of thanks to Crispy Frog for the lovely contest present. That was very generous of you!
I will admit I am a bit apprehensive to try and sew hexi's.....
Anyone have an idea of a pattern layout? I think there's 40 in each bundle.....
Thanks again, Judy. Love it!
