I think I forgot to wish AnnieQuilts a Happy "B" Day. I was in GR last week and wished I had made connections for a cup of tea and your recommendations for quilt shops. Another day. Keep celebrating and just have fun with all of those little birthday treats. Give you kitty a back scratch from her down state twin.

All the quilts I have donated there has only been 1 that I washed first, and just because it had been hanging for about 3 years and the white had a little streak on it. I do not have a dog or cat in the house so there is no hair. For me and only me...I appreciate someone washing the swaps I do if they have a cat, or at least let me know as I am very allergic to them. My hubby usually opens the packages out in the garage and he can tell if he needs to do something before they come in the house. Allergies are the pits, but if you have them they can really be a problem

That would have been fun!

In case you come to town again before we talk, I recommend these two for your browsing pleasure:

Queen Bee Quilt Shoppe, on south Division just north of 68th Street.

Attic Window, on Alpine Ave. NW just north of Six Mile Road.

Wow - jaba, I'm impressed! You have been busy with those candies! Thank you for sharing.

Been out of the loop for a few days. AnnieQuilts - didn't get to wish you a happy day on your birthday. Nice to see you had a good one!

Jane Quilter, you're next!

I am also making a Queen size postage stamp quilt too. Hopefully no duplicates...but I am not going to lose sleep over it!

I am making 16 patch squares and then someday I will put them all together. I mostly do this quilt as leaders and enders...so it will be awhile.

Yes it really is Color by color...honestly I go nuts if it isn't, just me! The only thing that isn't by color is the little shelves of scrap type fabric that I also look through before cutting yardage for a block or two and for Boom block swaps. Just a little bit comes in pretty handy and the batiks have their own space as well as blenders and tone on tones by the bolt.
