Can’t figure out how to load a photo from my phone but I did take them for y'all. I didn’t think it was going to take me so long to put this together. Not complaining y’all don’t mistake me, Cause I waited a year to do thus and I’m very happy to be here. I’m just under pressure with work and a bunch of other stuff but now that the charms are all over the place I’m committed to finish them before I can move on. Took about a full day to cut it all, laying them out now and I’ve got the perfect cards for these. 😇 I’m enjoying this and will most likely decorate the outside if my envelops. Gee, gonna set up a reminder for the 20th if each month. Hope y’all are having fun too.

The QB recently went through some changes and posting pix isn't the same. Perhaps someone who has had success with posting pix could give us a little help. Anyone?

Daren, I believe this is the sign up post, and another thread will be started when the signup is closed. Then all the other info got shared on the new thread. If you look at last year's thread near the start there is quite a bit of information shared as we all started mailing.
I'm sure that will happen again this year - you are just ahead of most of us!
I still haven't got my cutting table cleaned off from moving. It's been a real nice flat area to stack things while I figure out where their new home is going to be.
We may have snow Saturday night to Sunday, which means I'll get to stay home and straighten things at the new place instead of getting the old place ready to sell. It's going to be nice today and Saturday so as soon as DH gets up and going, we'll be heading out. Going to be a day of patching and painting. And I think I've figured out places so I can bring two more sewing cabinets home. So far I've managed to fit in 120 vintage machines and 25 cabinets, along with my 4 using machines and tables they go on, and the LA.
I promised DH I would not put machines/cabinets anywhere but the sewing studio, but so far I've managed to sneak 3 treadle parlor cabinets into the dining room (it's really big and we have little furniture for it) and a couple of small electric cabinets in the bedroom for night stands. We were using them in the bedroom before, so DH is use to that.
I'm sure that will happen again this year - you are just ahead of most of us!

Wesing,There are as many ways to package as there are swappers. But the primary idea is to keep the packages "thin" so they cost less to mail. I layer mine in two columns of 25 then either put in a card or on a sheet of tag weight paper with my message of birthday greeting. It is common to do something to contain the squares just in case the envelope is damaged. Some wrap their selections in saran type wrap and I have received others a clear sleeve of some kind. Don't know where these are sold, but would to. Some use Dollar Store greeting cards, others standard business size envelopes or other envelopes.
I use the 6x9 mailing envelope, Dollar Store, I had to remove the metal clasp. My USPS folks told me this is a must and to then tape closed the envelope flap with scotch tape. This allows the envelope to go smoothly through the automated sorting machines. Mine send for less than a dollar each.
The post office has a little slotted measuring tool they use to measure the thickness of envelops. If you package does not slide through the slot easily, you are charged as if the envelope was a package. (Rationale for keeping your package thin.) A package mails for about $3 plus dollars. Folks in this group have said in the past that they mail for about 80 cents each.

Excellent post on how to ship for the lowest cost.
