Barbara - Finished step 7
have4boys - like your coat of many colors bag. Some of my guild friends have made these in all different sizes. Good way to use the little gems we love in a new way.

Below is the "Days filled with Joy" Mystery/quilt along that I finished last night. I will make it again but in greens and yellows. It is just a little small, 44 X 56 so will likely make it with 20 blocks or add sashing between each block to expand it just a little. Good toddler quilt size but not quite big enough for an adult throw.

This one used just a few less than 400 2.5 inch squares. Squares, batting and backing all from stash. Whoo-Hoo!

How are the mystery stitchers getting along? I hope to have Part 7 done tonight. The 9 patches are quick and easy. I’m happy to be caught up. .

Have a wonderful and safe weekend!

LAF, your comment about encouraging your hubby to sleep in made me laugh. I encourage my DH to take a day or at least a few hours to himself now and again. That’s when I get the majority of my sewing done. He’s off today and I finished my part 7 this afternoon along with 20 friendship blocks for a quilt I began eons ago. It’s been a very productive day.

Spent today trying to finish another mystery, sewing rows together. Have a quilt to get on the longarm, last years Boom blocks, but hopefully will start the 9 patches tomorrow between my standing and sit-down breaks. Seems as though it takes it little longer than it use to, imagine that!!
