I am back in Prescott Valley - prepared all the envelopes for mail - and then had about a foot of wet snow. Roads are not plowed so will wait until I can get out to mail!

Scrappiness

I recently made three baby quilts for charity using up some very old fabrics and hundreds of Birthday Candies. I've barely made a dent in the supply. The fabric used on the border of the second quilt was in the first quilt I ever made. Other fabrics were nearly as old. It's time to use them. I even used pieced batting. Hopefully some young mother will think all the scrappiness is charming.

WOW, received from WMUTeach today, Dec 23 BD to Feb 1 arrival due to wrong zip. Yippee, it made it anyway!!! Thank You, Linda! Only one more to go, sent email to her so I expect it will show up, too! It's all good!

My last set of candies went in the mail today. The PO said they mail for $0.75. I’ve been paying (I think) $1.80. If you don’t get them let me know and I will send another set. My wife told the lady how much it costs to mail the packages but the lady insisted she was charging correctly. My wife doesn’t turn down a bargain so off they went.
