I mail mine from the town I work in...NOT the town I live in because they always always are cheaper than the "bigger" place I live. It was a tight fit to get all 15 in the cardboard but they fit and they sold me a stamped, undated envelope that I put in there also so either way I think is great! Might have to go to the legal size sending the completed blocks back though and I think they will be thicker than the F8's?

Yea..know what you mean!! When I went to mail Gaijin's finished block in our last swap, Monroe tried to charge me $14.00 to send it! I took it back home with me and went to a little post office in the next county and they sent it for $2.05. Bet you can't guess where I go to do my mailing now! Ladies, it pays to shop around. I told the guy in Monroe that I know they're having problems but they're not going to make it up off me. I still can't believe the difference that 20 miles made in the price.

Being snowed in has its advantages! I took the extra F8 I had and made a couple of practice blocks out of it. I really like the "orange" with the fabric but not sure how manly it looks...Cant wait to see what you all come up with!!

Orange looks great! I think it's manly. Have to show you what my husband made for me. Told him I wanted a quilt rack that didn't take up floor space and between the 2 of us here's the result. Think he's going to make a couple of more and I'm going to see if I can display them in the quilt shops here for sale. I love these on my wall to display quilts. [ATTACH=CONFIG]451943[/ATTACH]

Jan, I found a quilt-rack lady at our last guild show and ordered an 8-arm one and 2 4-arm ones. I have the 8-arm upstairs, one of the 4-arms downstairs to hold tops & backing waiting to go on The Six and then the other 4-arm is a gift for a friend.
