Jan, I love that rack!! I have a single rack in my living room but it just holds one. I like the idea of being able to move them so they all show. My house is so small that I don't think I have wall space for even one of those to hang. Ive given my kids so many quilts maybe I need one for THEIR house! LOL Its beautiful..

I would be in line to buy one!! What a wonderful idea. I have 2 floor style quilt racks and they are always full. They have to be moved out of the way all the time, though. I like that idea! Waiting anxiously for the package to arrive so I can get started. Kind of hope it is after Christmas, just cause I am so far behind already!! LOL

Amazing the differnce one day can make. I was puttering around my sewing room looking for a few more fat 1/8'ths for the swap. I received a call that my good friend and x brother in law of 30 years had fallen trying to help fix a friend's ceiling fan. His friends wern't home at the time and when the poor wife returned home she found Dewy knocked out on the floor. He was rushed to the hospital and placed on life support for a brain bleed. My four nephews were in agreement that their Dad would not want to live like that, papers were drawn up to remove life support and he passed quietly at 10:30 PM. Trying to change flights for 2 of my children who were coming home for Christmas and find a hotel or motel for our 13 family members when I don't have a definite date of the funeral yet. Will finish wrapping my fabric up and mail it before I leave.

Terriamn

Oh, terriamn, I'm so sorry! Seems there are always losses at Christmas . I'm sure your nephews did what they knew their dad wanted. They are brave and compassionate. Prayers for all.
Jan, those racks are gorgeous! Maybe your dh could advertise on the qb. We know there are a lot of quilters here! Lol. I wonder how he would go about it. Oh, patricccccccccce!
i'm not sure how i will post pics in the gallery since everyone will have something different. I am cutting fq's, and what a surprize, they are not the right size so I'm ending up with a fat 1/10 th ish. So I will use that to make a pieced border and incorporate all the fabrics. Everything is getting smaller these days, but me! Lol well, more cutting and ironing and less chatter from me!
joanelizbay, those blocks are beautiful. Men appreciate beauty, too! Afterall, they love us!

Terri, I'm so sorry to hear this news. My thoughts and prayers will be for you and your family. I know how hard this is at this time of the year. I lost my mother on Dec.23rd. several years ago. Hang in, Friend.

Nancia I tried to post them for sale but Patrice said no, I did ask her why but she hasn't answered me yet. I don't see any difference between the quilt hanger and people selling fabric by the bolt...must be something. He is going to sell them so they are available.
Terri, my thoughts are with you and your family, hard thing to go through. Comfort and time...

sure don't understand why you cant list them for sale. They have a LOT of items for sale off the home page, fabric, machine parts, etc. Wish I had room for one but the only "corner" I have in my house without a door next to it has my curio cabinet in it...I hope you can find a place to list them because he did an excellent job! Maybe a local quilt shop?
