GramE, I love that bird fabric! Are you going with just one color bird or any color bird? I think TOT bird colors would be perfect with that fabric.

Billi- we're going to miss you, but I sure understand why this time. Wish I could help with the curves, but I've never done one either.

It's great seeing the gang come together again, playing or just checking in and following along.

Safe travels, Terri. Stop often and get out and walk a little. It will help with sleepiness. Enjoy!

Billi, I shall do my best to keep you from joining. Maybe. . Also, got nothing to help you on the DWR. Sorry!

Reminder, everyone please read the lengthy first post and send me the info requested, particularly your current contact info, by email.

i love the birds too! That bolt cost me $3.50. I'm going to my favorite fabric store, maybe tomorrow & see what I can find. Excited to see all the florals everyone has chosen and I have ten new copies of 100 blocks to peruse while waiting. I finished the binding on my wall hanging swap last night, so my task today might be straightening the sewing room.

I am so excited to join in this swap with all you wonderful ladies. I read all the posts from Boom 18 (and Boom 19 so far) and really enjoy the camaraderie among everyone. Such a friendly and caring group.

I posted a picture of the fabric I want to use for the 3 month group on the Boom 18 thread but will post it again here. I know stripes may be a challenge but I'm sure that whatever you make will turn out great. I will be leaving color choices to all of you. The only color I would not want is more black. I love bright colors so let your imagination run wild and have fun!

I have officially joined the swap and can't wait to get started! Karen, your fabric looks like fun, I'll bet your returning blocks will be so cheery using bright colors with that fabric.

I started cutting and preparing my fabric and ended up with only 18 pieces. One piece is 11x17 1/2 instead of 11x18. I hope that isn't a problem. I don't think that half inch will make a difference. If there will be 20 in the 3 month group, I will have to send a different piece of fabric. Can I possibly send one 11x18 piece of plain bright fabric and several 11x4 pieces of the stripe fabric to go with it? Is that asking too much or should I just stick with a different piece? Sorry about all the questions.
