Glad you got it fixed. Was it a pin you had left? I have never used a long arm quilter so not sure of their procedure.

No, it's not one of my pins. Not that my pins are distinctive, but I see it's different than what I've got. I ironed it before I gave it to her and I think I would have noticed if I left one in. Maybe it just fell on the batting before she put on the top, like if she was moving other projects around above it, or laying things there for a bit while organizing.

Ive found a couple of curved needle?pins? in a couple of quilts ive gotten from my quilter. Not sure if a needle she uses or if shes had to pin something. Ive been lucky enough to be able to pull them out with no ripping. About had a heart attack just now. I got my pay pal notice..holy cow I had NO idea I had bought that much fabric on line! It was worth it indeed but when you add it up its a lot more than I realized!! I think I might have a mental illness when it comes to fabric because I have more than enough to be able to match anything I need but I always find something better.. LOL I wonder what they call this illness??

When I worked altering wedding gowns, we would keep pliers by our machines and use them to crush beading where we had to take in a seam. It was so much easier than trying to remove the beads any other way. There was something satisfying about crushing the beads too. Just 'pop, pop, pop' and then brush away the dust. Pliers and razor blades were two of the big tools of the trade! LOL.

Joan, I think we all have a touch of that illness. We just love fabric too much!

Givio, there is no guarantee we will all look back at this post. In fact, it probably won’t happen. However, if you rework your request, make it concise and clear, (“please use the solid in your block”), email it and I’ll print it and replace your request note for you. But it must be short. Couple of lines please. Any longer and you lose your audience.

If your pattern requires a certain number of pieces in a certain fabric, and you cannot accommodate the size of the solid fabric I've sent, I'm perfectly fine with you adding a solid or blender from your stash in order to use the solid fabric I sent. For example, if you need to cut 8 pieces of the solid fabric and you don't have enough because the 8 pieces are larger than the 6.5" square, you could cut 2 of a different fabric from your stash and 6 of the 6.5" solid fabric. I hope everyone will read this post as my request was written not clearly, also hope this answers the question ?

LOL Kass, thats a good one! after thinking I wouldnt order fabric again I could not find a match to some patriotic fabric that I needed. Had dark blue fabric with white stars, light blue stars, red stars but none of them matched so I had to order some white fabric with blue stars. Glad there isnt a quilting store in Boonville and too cold to drive to Columbia and thank heavens for Amazon Prime!!
