Lovely blocks Jayne and Mona. Especially my paper doll block Jayne.

Every year I join the ovarian cancer challenge. You can swap either a mug rug or a mini quilt and my choice was a mug rug and asked for one that represented their state. The gal I am swapping with liked that idea and requested the same. Paperpieced out state bird the loon, the challenge fabric is the diamond like fabric, still needs an eye

Wow, that loon is gorgeous, Terri! Your fabrics are perfect, too. I love it.

Love the duck!!!!

Janice, that turned out so beautiful. Oh how I would love to quilt that one for you. I see so much potential.

I started sewing my blocks last night finally. I did finish up six customer quilts (2 king size) this weekend so I can all done with them and they are nearly all out the door. Daughter did one more for me so that helped. As I was sewing my blocks, oops, messed up the first one, rip and reset. Start the second one, oops again, messed up, rip, reset, cut another piece, done. The third one, oops, piece not cut right, oops, set it wrong, rip, oops, sewed it wrong. Shut off machine and went to bed. LOL

Terriamn, I love your loon! Great work!

Lol, QM, although I shouldn’t lol about the having to give up and go to bed. Been there, do that, on a regular basis so I do sympathize. That’s how my borders got messed up on the UFO BOM. I worked too late and simply didn’t notice what I should have noticed. Grrr. I hope your next sewing round will be better.

Three packages of blocks came in today and two more are on the way. Later this week I’ll post the package recd to date so everyone will know where we stand. Just keep in mind the due date of September 22 for blocks to be in my hands. Thanks!

And fyi, I have my Boom 22 fabric pulled from the stash. Some of you will remember it from a few years back. It’s the blue floral that Moonrise used and wanted paired with purple. I loved it but forgot I had it. Oops. It’ll finally get used. Yay!

I have had my Boom 22 fabs cut and bagged for weeks, LOL! It’s a vintage fabric. I know this group will make it sing.
