Great finish Janice and GramE

Yes I remember those black corners, think I still have a box of them that were in with Dad’s photo’s.

Janice I am fine with early mailing also.

Cute kitty block, Janice. Some creative quilting around the head will take care of the contrast.

Speaking of kitties, my avatar cat, Naya, has been gone for weeks now. We think she went out to die in the woods. She was 20 years old and frail and not in good health. Very skinny. Her kidneys weren't working well. She was a house cat, but suddenly became very insistent about going outside. She came back the first two nights, but then stayed gone. In her condition, she couldn't have lasted without food and water this long. This is the last picture I took of her, just days before her disappearance.

She's in her usual place on the bed, keeping me company while I longarmed a quilt.

Sorry about your kitty, and sometimes they do make the decision like that.

Over the years I've discovered several of our outdoor cats curled up in a hiding hole where they chose to go to pass. If we know they are having issues, we deal with that but sometimes they just go off by themselves and you always wonder.

I'm OK with shipping early - I'll be heading for vacation on around the 16th so if it gets shipped early enough I'll have it before we go. We have our mail held so even if it does not, that won't be a problem.

Sorry your kitty has gone over the rainbow bridge. It's hard when we lose them, but you had her for a very long time. I can only imagine all the cuddles she gave you in 20 years.

Jclinganrey, how nice you popped in! We’re finishing up this group and Night Owls will finish next month.

SBG, I’m very sorry to hear about your kitty. Twenty. She must have been ready to move on and she made her decision. You have my condolences.

Jane are you getting the "itch" to do a Boom swap again? It's been awhile, think about it, miss you being here.

Sewbiz, sorry about your kitty. I have felt the same way about a dog before, it just breaks your heart. She must have been ready and was trying to spare you the pain.
