Beautiful blocks Pamela and Sewbizgirl. Pamela that grey grunge fabric looks nice with Libster's fabric.

Sewbizgirl, you definitely used excellent colors in these new blocks. Pretty. Dont fret abt the fabric choice. There is usually at least one per swap that gives pause but some people excel with the challenge. Sorry tour infection is still ongoing.

PamelaOry, beautiful blocks. Libster's fabric looks great in that pattern you used.

I made a couple of blocks for myself tonight. First sewing I've felt like doing in a while... (the dreaded sinus infection is still plaguing me.)
I want to apologize to everyone for my choice of this fabric. It's a booger to match colors to! I found it very challenging. Weird greens, weird teals, etc. Sorry!
Shameless plug for blood donation coming: I donated blood yesterday and it knocked me down hard. I slept like the dead last night. I love donating blood, not the process, rather helping others. If you are able, please consider donating as supplies are critically low again with the hurricane. Thanks.

Pamela very pretty blocks.

Sewbiz the colors in your blocks look like they coordinate very well with your focal fabric.

Seems like there is one color combination every boom that are quiet sleepers. Then you put the block together and it’s so pretty. QueenB’s browns take the cake this time. Really enjoying her blocks coming to life

The reason I chose brown is my mil likes leopard print. So I decided to do brown plus it's kind of neutral. Everything I've made here had leopard print on it. From curtains to pillows, purses, even a Christmas tree skirt. The last quit I made her was in 2003. It was before I got into really quilting. She really like the last boom quilt I made. Plus it is time for a new quilt.

I think you made a good choice QB. It’s made me think of making one in these colors for our camper.

Getting ready for a visit from my MIL and SIL, so these will be the last for this week. This will make 6 completed - I think I'm on track!

For QueenBarbie - I agree with TerriAmn - your blocks are looking so pretty together!

For Libster - the outside fabric is a pretty light blue with speckles that match your fabric - I feel it looks too white in this picture.

For Cheesehead - I think your quilt is going look so pretty in person, but these blocks don't photograph well! I feel they white out when those rosebuds are so pretty in person!
