I hope everyone had a pleasant Thanksgiving. Our day was very quiet. The calm before the grandbaby storm I’m guessing. Kassaundra, I cannot wait to see how the quilt turns out. You have some very pretty blocks there. MjpEncinitas, nice job on the table runner. Gave me ideas for one of my own.

Kass love all your blocks, can’t wait to see your frogs.

We had a lovely day, everyone was in a good mood and the time just flew by. My Thanksgiving runner was one I made for my sister that I didn’t care for and made her a different one. Then I machine appliquéd a few leaves on it and love it now

Queenbarbiej -- must feel so good to have it completed (almost). It looks awesome!

My blocks are laying on the ground deciding which friends they want to be near. Just finished picking the sashing and cornerstones. Hoping to get the flimsy done today or tomorrow -- my goal is to get most of my fabric packed back up and do quilting throughout December, not as much of a mess in my dining room!

Holy moly.. I should see if the boomerangs still are going on. and they are!! Awesome possum! Blocks are looking good ladies!! I shall just lurk around for a bit think. Maybe get back into booming later on. Glad i found you again!

Hello, Bluelady! I hope your life change is all you wished it would be and more. We’ll be starting a round a couple of months into next year. If you are interested, we’d love to have you join us again. Best wishes.

[QUOTE=Kassaundra;8332289]QB love that red w/ the blocks. An earth tone w/o being brown really sets it off. You are quick I had time to look at mine, but that's it. I have been working on a test block for a designer, it is fpp but made to look like Hawaiian applique, and a test wallet w/ fabric and tape I plan on making w/ the nephews. I can't show a pic of the test block but here is the wallet. I made it w/ beer fabric so the boys can gift it to their father, and make wallets for themselves.

It has all the traditional pockets, the big money pocket, two "hidden", 3 card holder, and one viewing id clear pocket.[/QUOTE

cool gift, I love you sharing your creative talent with us.

I have pulled my blocks out and they are more beautiful in person. I will be making two small quilts with my blocks. One burgundy and one blue for donation quilts. Thank you ladies for make such great blocks. I will be giving feed back soon. Working in retail during the holidays is grueling. I get home in the evening and I am so exhausted, I can’t bring myself to do anything but crawl in bed. Then get up and do it all again.

On a lighter note, I have found my fabric for the next swap. This may be one I keep myself. Fabric is so pretty.
