I made a middle block and have a partial design for the last boom blocks. I am going to use the lavender color in the middle for the sashing. I may try to do a curvy border similar to what Kass did around the center block. If I had to do it over I would’ve bought a much lighter lavender. There is not enough difference in value for the middle block. I have a few extra blocks that will be made into pillows. A lot of FMQ or thread painting on the middle square.

The skirts are so cute. I especially like the peacock fabric. I sometimes sew with my bonus grandkids. We,ve made little pillows and they’ve helped with a quilt. They’re coming this summer and they’ll finish up the quilts they started.

Merry Christmas to all of my Boom sisters! My holiday has been fantastic so far. I hope each of you are as happy as I am right now. I have DD#2 here for the first time in five years. My heart is full.
