Bugaroo, you are off to a quick and fun start. Love the flower for Hav! I've included it and the beer block for Bibliostone in the gallery.

Marcialee, we're supposed to have rain for the better part of the next two weeks. By the time you come, I can only hope you see some pretty spring weather here. GA is lovely in the spring!

Glad packages are starting to roll in today. Everyone be sure to count and make sure you have 19 packages. I know you each have 19 but you need to know it before you launch into the blocks. And let's all remember that the goal is a well-constructed 12 1/2 inch square block. Be sure you measure to make sure you are meeting that goal! Thank you.

I have 4 blocks done and I am happy with how they turned out.... so much fun! Taking a break from sewing to play catch up with house work and whatnot. Love seeing how the same material gets manipulated by different creative minds,.

The feather material was such fun... reminds me of mardi gras! And Klaws you said on your note to go crazy... so you got a bird!!! The background on the bird is a light yellow bird egg print.

Everyone is making such good progress! I love seeing the creativity, very inspiring. Bugaroo - your bird block definitely is crazy fun!
I received my package today and petted everybody's fabric with great admiration! I found coordinating fabrics for each one and added them to my bin to take on retreat this weekend. I just love playing with new fabric. Glad I joined in and I am already thinking about fabrics for the next one.

Such a cool beer block, Bug!

Our internet has been in and out, so while I can connect, I wanted to tell you all your fabrics are here and they are beautiful! I already made two and cut out another. Gotta be good and clean house first tomorrow....

There are so many beautiful fabrics to play with!

Terri, wishing you all the best with the upcoming surgery.

Thanks, I love this block. Do you happen to know a name for it?

My squishy should be arriving today! I've not sewed anything since I packing it all up to move in December - and this will help to get me motivated to get back into the swing of sewing.

I love picking out interesting blocks to try that might be out of my normal comfort zone - knowing I only have to make one of them. I cut my outer pieces so they are going to extend on the outer edges so that I don't end up with a block that is just under the required dimensions. With that bit of extra I can trim down and always have a block that is cut at 12.5". Not going to guarantee the points are exactly where they should be, but the block will fit in with the others just fine.
