MJP, to be honest (and what else would I be?), that blue is so close in value to the other fabric that it disappears a little. Some people may not agree with me, but I'd like to see just a bit more contrast. It's going to look fine, tho. No mistake.

Janice, we will think of you tomorrow. Just enjoy the drugs and sleep while you can. All will be well here....

My pictures don't seem to have the same numbers that you are looking for. I shrink them by percent, down to 25% of what they were originally, taken with my Iphone. Please let me know if they are still too large.

Here's my second block for Mobile: A Milky Way block, a bit modified.

Here it is. I guess with this wonderful new format, we can't quote and post a picture in the same post.

Beautiful blocks. Everytime I see a new one, it just inspires me to sew!

Janice, you have my prayers for tomorrow.

These blocks I finished this morning. The 2 fall ones are for Have4boys and the peacock one is for MJP.

Thanks Sewbiz. I squeezed in 2 more blocks : ) It's been a good day. These are Jaba's light and dark blues. Hope you like them. I used some of the dark on the lighter one for shadows.

Hi ya'll,

Checking in to say, "I'm really impressed with all of the displayed blocks." Everyone is so creative and I enjoy looking at the different variations. My "hearts" are oh so awesome. Thank you all.

Started making blocks yesterday. Much fun.

Signing off, Mobile.

Thanks Sewbiz. I’ll send a message to everyone, letting folks know to feel free to omit that extra fabric

Great block output today, Bug! I love any kind of folded corners blocks... just love the shape!

Mobile, enjoy the process and try and show us pictures when you can. We live for pictures, around here!

MJP, I hope I didn't dump cold water on your idea. I hope some people will still use it, where it has some contrast. I think my lime green contrasted with it pretty well, in the block I made.

I made a few blocks this afternoon/evening. Here is "Dove in the Window" for Macybaby, and "Crystal" for Jaba. Hope you like them, ladies.

not at all. If I didn’t want an opinion I wouldn’t have asked. You just confirmed what I was thinking. Better to catch the mistake now before all the blocks are made.

bugaroo. This block is for you. Hope you like it. I had fun making it. I needed a break from piecing!
