My sewing room exploded this week, so I've been cleaning today instead of sewing. Going on hour 4 and I just now found enough floor to take pictures of my new blocks! yikes!

I have to get some stuff done. The room is a MESS because of all of these "projects" that were waiting for summer. It's summer. This stuff HAS to get done. I wanna make some quilts! =D

The block from Janecat and Shaysmema is called Contrary Wife.

I think the purple and aqua block is call Squares Upon Squares.

Just a quick note to say that I received a square from jetnica ... very nice. Will post pics tomorrow of blocks received. I can't wait until I can put it all together!

Havent had any F8 to make this weekend..going thru withdrawal! :) Maybe "till Sept" is too long? Most everyone seems to get on the blocks really fast and its so much fun to receive F8 and finished blocks! Im only missing F8 from letsquilt, rejenea, scollard, tapngram, tolepainter and wanda so if anyone hasnt received their finished blocks from me PLEASE let me know as Ive sent out all Ive received. (jaciqltznok and bibliostone went out Sat). I really love seeing the finished blocks people receive on here! Such talented people!

QuiltersCache also calls it Squares within Squares2.

So I'm working on the blocks today and I was thinking what I'm going to do with the scraps im going to use them on the back of the quilt.

Great blocks. I'm really starting to like this Turtle and Froggie thing you have going on there. Frogs are so cute. Love the cats that Lady Ilene is doing too. :)

Hope they like them as they are "new to me" trials. :)

Frogquilter, tolepainter54 & Letsquilt have said they were sending theirs soon, navarre2011 is remailing one since it didn't show up at my house (naughty swatch). :)
