I'm here! I will have everyone F8 in the mail tomorrow. Have everything addressed and ready to go. I am going to be sending out two different colors again. Everyone will get a batik orange or tealish (is that a word?) color. I have enclosed notes with my fabric. I only want white or white on white used with mine please! I am making a quilt as a housewarming gift. I will be making additional blocks to go with my quilt using both colors and white! I can't wait to get started on some blocks again. Like I need another task...lol.

I am currently trying to finish...
1. A quilt for a coworker (He was hurt badly in Afghanistan, lost both legs, only 20 years old)

2. A quilt for my mother in law for her birthday in Nov.

3. A total of 4 throw quilts to be raffled off next Spring for my local relay for life fundraiser. (From the Boom 5 blocks)

Here is the fabric you will all be getting! I will print out the address labels today and all you USA ladies will have them in the mail this afternoon! yogglover and lindaC yours will go out next Wednesday when I go to the post office.
what lovely fabric immemother. This is my first time doing the boomerang swap so I hope the blocks I make will be up to expectations from everybody. I have my fabric ordered (we have very few quilt shops here in the emerald isle) so as soon as it arrives it will be washed, dried, ironed, cut and away.

Linda,
There are no "expectations" in this swap except that you try your best and send a block you are happy to say you made. We make friends here and we grow here with our skills. :)
Hugs
April

I live beside the sea north of Dublin City. The avatar quilt is a work in a very long progress. It is from the Hoopsisters and is a quilt block made in the hoop on an embroidery machine. If I win the lotto (lottery) this weekend I will be able to take early retirement and get it finished (wishful thinking). Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Thank you April.
I'm looking forward to trying out new blocks and techniques that I haven't tried before. I'm going to make a trial block each time for myself out of scrap fabrics and then make the real thing for the swap. Can't wait to see what everybody's fabric is like.

Just in case anyone needs help with labels try this:
Open and save the excel spreadsheet in your documents. Open up word, click on mailings, start mail merge and then choose the step by step wizard. From the right choose labels, then next, then choose label options from right, the box that pops up 5160 is generally the 3 rows 10 per row address label format, then next to select recipients, browse and choose the excel spreadsheet, click next arrange labels click address block, match fields in the lower right, first name should be swapper name, last name & suffix not matched, company (this is optional) you can put their boardname here or not matched, address 1 will be street name, address 2 not matched, city will be city, state & zip, state & postal code will be not matched and country or region will be country. Once you select these fields click okand then ok again and then update all labels on the right hand side. Then click on next preview your labels then next complete the merge and then print on the right. You should be good to go. I would recommend not putting their board name on the labels as this may make them too large.
Hugs
April

Ok, You may not get this fabric back...It is so cute. I will have to find a block to do it justice.

I am so exicited!!! I will get my fabrics in the mail in the morning. (I bought one fabric then I have changed my mind and have to wash and iron the new fabric. If I do not get it in the mail... I may change my mind again.

I cannot wait for my first fabric pack. !!! :-D :D
