I have still not received 6 of my blocks from: calquilter, sharonB, maebe42, linnaete, Wendsy , OK Darla. Looking forward to getting them. Booms are fun Swaps, and I am amazed at the amount of talent that is always shown in here, you ladies all rock!

Wee seem to be in the doldrums - or maybe the eye of the storm? LOL! I have received all but three of my blocks. And the season of children coming home has arrived for me. So I will not be posting much until a month passes and my daughter leaves. Have fun quilting!!

no more booms for me until I finish what is piling up! Only missing one block which is amazingly good....some people seem to think the deadline is when they have to start BUT this group has really been on the ball!

Yeah, no more booms for me either. I loved doing them because I have really learned a lot, and I have realized sometimes it is not about perfection, it is about trying. I am in two groups this time and still wait for 6 blocks in each group. I have found some of the other swaps and enjoy doing them also.
Enjoy your children being home Quilt Mom, it is too soon they are all grown up and having their own families, but the good thing is then you have grand children to sew for!
Have a wonderful day

I received a block today from Sharon b, Thank you it is perfect for my quilt top. What is the block called? I know I have seen it before but don't know the name.
I really enjoy the boom's also, I just have so many projects now that I think a little break is in order. Plus I joined our local quilt group at Church making charity quilts. I love making them, it is so awesome to see the look on the faces, well worth the effort. But truly it is no effort since we have so much fun getting together every week. Time flies when we are working, laughing and just enjoying the process. It kinda reminds me of how it must have been when the ladies had quilting bee's.

I like the interaction that the block swap does for me. It puts so much more in to this site if I feel I have a friend. I look for your names, and look forward to see what you say and pictures you post. I keep to the small groups so I do not over extend myself but I enjoy all I have recieved and do. I can't wait for the next boomerang.
Thanks again for swapping, Phannie
