Wow I haven't checked in in two days and the posts are like wild fires. LOL. Happy birthday Mommyquilter. Hope ithas been a happy day I got several squishies today. I went to the post office to mail 16 of mine. I ran out of envelops and so now I will go to the store on Sat and get some more. SIGH. When I came back from the PO the mailbox was empty so I thought he was just late as usual. But on my computer desk there was a stack. Of course a health bill tried to sneek in as a squishy but I tossed it real quick.

I got the following

elizabrat --guess what I got a 10 " square from someone that has beehives on it and it will match your fabric.
Twin River Farm-----I am in love with the lady bugs
Moonrise
missgigglwings
MamaHauser
Fraew
OK darla
Jaba
ljdugas31

Now those of you who are fretting because there are some people who are quick on the draw. Don't worry I'll be still working on mine in October. LOL. I am taking the ones that I get before Sept. 4 to New Hampshire will I will be spending several weeks with my best friend. I am taking material with me so I can sew there. Yep she has 3 sewing machines and a fantastic sewing room. If I run out or change my mind on the fabric choice, I am sure my friend will advise me on what to do and how to do it. I am so excited. Have to f inish up on some squares for two swaps before I leave, so I will enjoy seeing what everyone else does as they post here on line. I love this swap already.

I have been mia because I finally finished a top that I started 11 years ago today. I figured since the boss did not remember my Bday, then he would not mind I took a little extra lunch and started late this am, he's not here so executive decision on my part, and I feel so relieved. I have been trying to do this bugger all year long. It only had 574 2.5" squares to sew along with 3.5" squares to 6.5" squares and is a queen. yep, a whole lot of little squares. Be different if sampler but a whole pattern of faux drunkard path and I can say I know why it took me so long to want to do but fell in love with it once I got the blocks to the 6.5" stage and was able to sew the top. You want to see you have to go to the UFO challenge thread. Posting there.

Don't know if any new f8 but I did cut up the next three blocks, will get them sewn tonight or in am. Have a good night ladies, I will be in garage quilting away on that round robin that needs done for show.

Whew! A couple of the F8s I received yesterday really made me put my thinking cap on! LOL! Grown-up blocks headed out this morning to:

Elisabrat
missgigglewings
Abbysmom
ljdugas31

Sneak peeks are in my sig line if y'all want to see.

I most likely won't be able to get any sewing done today or over the weekend, but I'll pick back up on Monday evening. I bet I'll have a pile-and-a-half of squishies to work on by then!
