Good evening! The following blocks are done and going home Tuesday (since Monday is a holiday). Will post pictures to my album tomorrow.

Anna Quilts -- I LOVE you block. Found a new FAVORITE quilt block. Added it to my bucket list as an entire quilt.
Pink Lotus -- I hope I added enough red pizzazz for ya
Sap doggie (side swap) -- very fun and kid friendly
LJDugas - love your fabric. Hope I did it justice.

Will be sewing more tomorrow. I ran out of thread. Not quite sure how...

omg running out of thread would be like breaking your last needle.. I am on my last rotary blade and its skipping which means I had best order one asap or I am in big trouble. I can not and I mean than sincerly cut a straight line with scissors even if I mark the lines on the back.. I suck at it. Spoiled rotten with these items. What size rotary cuttery does everyone use? mine is the larger one 60 mm olfa. I guess after 40 blocks it has a right to be dull.

has anyone reported to the board this issue with virus that is apparently going through the system? any answer back? I wrote them about that script thing I get all the time but no reply.

Thank you all for the comments. I was really surprised at how good all the blocks went together! LOL Im like you, I always look for "my" block when someone posts a picture of a finished quilt! Im starting on my black/white/red one from last swap but dont know how to sash it.. I have a red and a black I can use but dont want to do the same sashing as the purple. Ill just have to lay them out and see what works! I dont know what size my cutter is but its a Fiskars from Wal Mart. Blades are expensive but WELL worth it. I would hate to think of cutting and quilting like our grandmas use to have to do! Are we spoiled or what?? Have a GREAT day!

Just checking in and letting everyone know what's going on with me...
I've been sick off and on and just haven't felt like dealing with sewing, plus I'm trying to finish up a Sun Bonnett Sue Quilt for my mom and a few other swaps, I had to go to the hospital the other night and I have Bronchitis, but feeling a little better today! I hope to finish up my moms quilt and a few other swaps and then I will start cutting the rest of my F8 and get them in the mail. I will get your blocks to you before the deadline I promise and I hope to have the rest of my F8's mailed by the end of the month...I have some of your F8's done and will be mailing them on the 15th, I'm working on them when I feel like sewing, my back is giving me a lot of pain and now I have Bronchits. Been to the hospital twice this month and to the Dr. Office twice, this month has been bad for me with the change of the weather going up and down. The weather is why I'm having issues with my back, they give me pain medicine and the darn stuff makes me sleep a lot. So I'm praying for good weather or at least stay the same...LOL

Linda, on your pictures that you have try to upload, did you size them down first if you didn't that is the reason they won't load there too big, you might try resizing them to at least 600pixs that seems to work for me.

I have tried, and left it sit for up to 2 hours and it still will not up load. Second, I don't know how to make an album, so there ya go!! It may have something to do with the fact that I use my phone for internet service and I am out in the boonies in ND since June. I thought I would be back in Texas this month, but because I am having some major health issues, I have to stay here till my doctors say it is OK to head home.

My fabric is from Robert Kaufman :-)

I love the web site "thousandsofbolts.com" for fabric. Ive never gotten a bad piece from them and a lot of their prices are $5 and under for Windham, Kauffman, Moda etc.

You can use another fabric as long as you use both of mine along with it.

That quilt finished is so pretty! I thnk that is the inspiration everyone needs to see what can be.. and how it is all going together. Thank you for sharing that with us. So if I take like a year to finish mine no quilt police will come and get me right? otherwise I am hiding and not saying where I went.

Linda58 I live in the boonies too sucky reception on a really good day. We have internet or we dont. Aol the original is way better than us on a good day. Way it is. No phones work up here cell wise. Even ATT let us out of our contract with them as well there is no cell service and towers are apparently too expensive. So verizon we cant hear you now either. Its funny to watch out of towners when they first come up here.. like WHAT? NO INTERNET? no CELL SERVICE? you would think we put them on the moon. Nope but if you take your golf cart up to that ridge and hold your arm way out to the left and there are no clouds you might pick up one bar.. and that is not an exageration. But Linda you didnt say do you prefer just those two fabrics or others like it can be mixed in too? I have the ivory flourish with snowflakes in those same tones only the cream is lighter than the background ofyour ornaments but I think they work.. your call. thanks!

So sorry Marybeth about your friend, I know it don't help because I lost my sister in 2009 to car accident. And you just miss them to much! But it does get a little easier. You are such a sweetheart and prayers go out to you someone mention to finish it and give it to the children in her class. That sounds awesome but then I think what will happen to it when the children move on to the next grade. You will figure it out in time you, you just need some time to grieve.
