I'm with moonwork chocolate, heath, butterfingers and peanut butter cups mostly. They have the taffy stuff in the grocery stores, right along with that candy corn. Went shopping today for odds and ends for SP swap and got it sent, then worked on the ornament swap and the secret santa. Can't find the candy for the santa swap yet, have some time though to look some more. No blocks in the mail today. All of mine have been sent home to you so if you don't have 1 from me please let me know.

Just got back from DesMoines quilt show - nice show.

Bought something for blocks I'm making for both Elisabrat & Immemother

The rest of the stuff I bought is alllll mine

Had a great time, saw some awesome quilts, spent not tooooo much money, test drove a few machines (actually the same machine - just badged differently) the HQ SweetSixteen and the Brother Tiara. Lovely machines ... the HQ is a smidge less expensive and they can offer direct support - so if you're in the market for a sit-down table model mid-arm with or without a stitch regulator - I can suggest the HQ 16. I want one, I just can't justify $4.2K for a machine that only quilts. Maybe someday.

Oh ... grandson is still quite happy to be warm and cozy in the womb and just cannot be bothered to be introduced to the world. We're just hoping that he makes an appearance before hubby has to come home

I also love chocolate.. Peanut Butter cups (my all time fav candy), butterfingers, M&Ms, heath, Dove, laffy taffy, jolly ranchers, saltwater taffy, after dinner mints, andes mints.. freaking A I just love sweets. If it's not black licorice, and not coconut, send it to me. I will eat it. Ok I don't like peach jolly ranchers or most peach artificial flavored things, but I love peaches.. other than that.. I'm good.. just send it to me. all of it..

I worked on my secret pal projects.. mostly done.. and immemother's block.. now I need to work on math *cry* I would rather be doing OTHER things..

Now that is cute Anastasia. And send me the coconut and licorice that she hates cause I LOVE those candies.. we would do well at a candy bar at say a wedding you could take one end of the candy bar and me the other and we would both be very happy..

finished a block today for Straley (think that is diamonds) and cutting now a block for the kitties I love that fabric way to cute, says dont cut me cut that otherstuff! honest it wants to be the every other block 12" square just itself and maybe some cute blue and cream/brown blender ohio stars or something in between.. yeah that is what it says. Its not what i am making however lol not my quilt shooteroonie. I like this fabric it will be fun to see what comes out of it.. those eyes are oh so precious on the kittens ..

ok is anyone else here losing three friends a day? according to the header on my quilting board main page i have three people who have unfriended me and I see this daily. I am worried. At this rate I will not have any friends at all and even odder is how the heck does the quiting board rotating header know I HAVE THREE PEOPLE uNFRIENDING ME DAILY? I mean common I dont belong to any groups like facebook or twitter.. so where are they jumping my ship? oh such a sad day in America when all those people leave you and you dont even know them. sigh.

At my last job, they regularly threw employee parties, and at least two of them there were candy bar/buffet things. Was pretty cool. I miss that company a lot. Don't miss the job one iota but miss the company.

Tomorrow I'll hopefully post the last thing I'm making for my secret pal. Then I can also work on the last thing I'm making for my secret SANTA. And I really need to get to work on the ornaments. slacker I am. have to get these things off my table first so I have crafty room. Oh and math.. omg the math.. crap.. have to do that tomorrow, tried to do it today, read a paragraph.. gave up.

Job fair on tuesday. Wish me luck.
