Gaijin, got your F8 in the mail yesterday. The kids were just too excited to get mail from Japan!

Received F8 from Phannie, Tlambing, Roseysue, and Lestrong.
My mom arrived for three weeks and I showed her some of the F8 to her. She oohed and aahed over them. I did complete two blocks before she came and she approved . Told her I would let her settle in today and then I have her start putting my blocks from last swap up on the design wall and let her play with them for a week!
doubt I will get much sewing done while she is here - plan on matching fabric and finding patterns or each F8!

PS Here is my updated list of received F8s. I was going to go to my moms tonight and work on some but with the huge snowstorm coming I have to help hubby split and stack wood. We ran out of oil and it costs over $600 to get the minimum delivered sooooooooo wood it is lololol

wow Lisa. I love Roseysue's block. I might just slip it out of her house when she is not looking. I do have to try that block pattern. I also love the one you did for me. Hasn't arrived yet but I am sure soon. All your blocks are beautiful and you have done so many of them.
My goal is to do 4 - 5 each day. Well I tried yesterday all ready to go and my son came in and tells me the car is leaking. So I spent 4 hours watching them fix her up.....One new radiator and hoses and $300 poorer. So not much sewing done. Good thing we get another day to start all over. LOL.

Hi everyone, haven't received anymore squishies yet. Got some sad news today and will be offline for awhile. A dear friend passed away last night, she's lived with cystic fibrosis since birth and as of 10 pm last night will no longer be required to struggle with it. We became instant friends in the first grade when we were 5 and 6. She was 27 years old. I'll update what is received after the funeral. Sorry for posting about such a sad thing but thought you deserved a reason for the absence.
