I received your fabric lovinggrandma. I also received some pretty blocks today which of course I am going to share with you right now!

The first is from gaijin. Thank you I love it! the second is from Nanakathy beautiful pumpkin patch! and last but not least is from Travelingramma. A very cool block with a nice story to go with it. I did want to mention perhaps all the tape you use on your envelopes is why they are charging you so much? Nanakathy sent her block for .66 cent and yours cost $2.07! If you folded longer flatter and only used scotch tape on the flap I think you could cut the cost of sending way down. That is ridiculous! and yours was in the same type envelope same type inner wrapping (not a baggie which costs a lot more too) .. just wanted to try to help you a bit because that would definetely put a huge dent in my budget.

There is nothing so far for me to put pics so sending and reloading..

I think she also puts tracking on them so that adds additional cost. I don't put tracking on them...guess I've been lucky too.

Did you peek at the block I posted for you Brat on my link?

oh dear ... send her your fabric QUICK guys. Jaba is outta blocks to sew. Didnt you do something like 90???? OMG. so glad I decided not to compete with you this year. oh heck no. It has to be hard to be finished and not get any in the mail back those are the long days. When do you need to finish this quilt Jan? I am sure it has a deadline like all your other projects. I say if you havent done mine yet put Jabas before it. It wont bother me at all. I am happy with slow and steady right now as I dont need things done asap. I do hope they call come home before the end of the swap this round if possible. I had two come 30 days late last time. I had given up on those. In fact they couldn't make it in the quilt I had already sent it to be quilted. I will get two more out this afternoon. I keep saying ok only X amount more! then another piece of fabric comes in. I thought I had them all but apparently some are still sending? SEND ok?? Its so muchmore fun to count down 30, 20, 10, 5.. way fun for me like a little high that comes from accomplishing something. It feels good to getter' done. Anyone else get that thrill on the last block?? or am I the only dork here. DONT ANSWER THAT. I will live in the dillussion that there are others just like me. less scary.

Yep just like you Brat, like to getter' done. That's why I don't have anything to sew. Have started squaring up all the blocks and putting sashings on them. Have got all the Indian and Atlantic group done but still holding off on actually sewing it together. I need to put some on the long arm and get them quilted so I can take on vacation next month to have something to do. That binding will get done in no time. Better than twiddling my thumbs. Have about 3 yet that need quilted, 1 large and 2 smaller...like table cloth size from the mystery quilt. Maybe today my mail box will have something in it.

Jaba- you are on my table ,,,,,,your Fabric is on my table! It took me awhile to find the perfect matching fabric to go with it. It sits there and I put a couple of pieces by it - and the next day I say "what were you thinking???" and try again. But I got it now!
Yes, thank you for the tips about the tape. Did I tell you my DH helped!! i sent out a stack yesterday at a different PO. I put in "invitation" size envelopes, didn't let DH help, no heavy tape, and they were only .92 or 1.12 - So I am a happy camper
