First let me diddo what Moonwork so elequently said. Thank you to your husband Kelly and to you for standing strong as that is a big big job too. Good luck with the visit from the MIL.

Second still some fabrics not in yet but I am not going to stress it. If you send it to me after the boom however you will get it back in one piece. I am sorry but that is what I will do. I will work hard on all of your blocks to make you something you can enjoy but I do allocate the time during the boom. After that I am off doing other projects (like putting booms together) and thats the best I can do.

On a happy note! I received two blocks in yesterday. I think they are so pretty and would love to send thanks to both of you. These are with fabric I sent that is vintage and are the first of the 8 I sent of these that came back. LOVE IT!

elizabrat is this comment about any F8's you haven't gotten yet??? Or is it that you are anxious to get your g rown up blocks back. I was confused. I know there are some people in our group who have been really slow in sending out their F8's. Maybe if they sent an explanation as to why everyone would be not so anxious about getting their F8. Then again we don't know what is going on with their lives and maybe they can't communicate with us and none of their family members know how to contact us either. Strange things have happened. I just pray that nothing serious is going on in their lives that is preventing them from joining in. I can understand those who have all their grown up blocks made and sent off to their mommies and they are still waiting on some F8's to come in. It's like you are all finished and you can go on to some other project and then all of a sudden you get an F8 sent to you and you have to stop and go back to that. I understand that. But I try to remind myself that we have until June 1 and because I am in all 5 groups......I will be finished by the middle of April if I keep going at the pace that I have set for myself. Yeah. I love seeing the pictures everyone posts. We are definitely going to have some really awesome quilts and I hope when everyone gets their's all together and finished that they will post a picture so we can see the finished product. Well back to the sewing machine.............busy busy busy.

I'll never get the mailman straight. He use to come between 2 - 4 in the afternoon. I could finish a few blocks and get them in the mail by then. Now he is coming between 8 and 9 am. Grrrrrrr. So I have to remember to rund downstairs and put the blocks out in the mail in the early morning. I am lucky to be function by 8 am. don't know why he switched. When I first moved her 12 years ago, the mail came at 8 -9 pm at night. so weird. The post office is half a block a way too.

Urgodschild I was talking about people who still havent sent their fabrics. I know life happens and things get out of our control. That said then just skip it and say so. and if you dont say so I still feel its my right to say after June 1st please dont send me your f8's to sew. I am sewing them now. and getting them done which feels really good. I think this is reasonable and its a way that works for me. You know how hard I have struggled and what life has thrown at me. I get people get sick, injured, family troubles .. life. I do. It would be good of the people who haven't sent just say why. That to me is not so hard. I was hospitalized last year and had my daughter go online in this account and explain why my item hadn't been sent and where I was. And btw if I do get any extras that come late your more than welcome to tackle them if you like sharing and all is a good thing too

ok off to sew more blocks. two done this morning goldendog's and twinrivers. I have a third laid out on the table time to pick a block to go with it. Its been a good sewing morning. I love when that happens.

Received 3 more grown-ups this week. NanaKathy55, Country1, and travelinggramma. Thanks everyone for the lovely blocks. I'm slowly working on making grown-ups, aka. struggling with a difficult paper/foundation pieced block, it's looking great but more coplicated than I'm used to! On the plus side something new is being learned
