Post as we receive -- and DEFINITELY POST THE FINISHED QUILT. That should give us all some extra incentive to finish it rather than add to our UFO's.

OOOOhhhh! what a late night surprise I got! Barbsbus and NorBanaquilts' fabric were in my mailbox. Pretty fabric and so exciting! :D

I vote we post after we receive. The surprise will be fun. Now I have to learn to post pictures!

Anyone have any cheese to go with my whine?

I am agonizing about cutting my fabric! I'm afraid to make that first cut! The pieces are going to be 1/4 inch short and a smidgen short on the width! You'd think I was a rocket scientist the way I am thinking of cutting.
Then the temperature on the porch where I cut is 52 degrees!
It's usually about 80 degrees on a sunny day! And it's raining! And cold!
The weather people near Orlando were all out this morning running around looking for snow flakes to take a picture of. What a riot.

But then, just when I was ready to quit, the mailman came and brought me three more squishes!

I may have to wait until tomorrow to cut but they will be out in the mail on Monday.

I decided to print out the chart and the very first column doesn't print. Why is that?
I still haven't figured out how to do the mail merge so I'll probably have to hand write the labels but that's OK.
My chart is in MS Works. Maybe that has something to do with it.
I don't know.
Anyway, it must be almost lunch time then I will get back to some sewing.
You ladies have a great day!
:-D :-D

Hi everyone in this swap. I am Gigix12 (Lori Hovey). I have sent out all my fabric but an emergency has come up and I will be in Tucson and back home by February 1. I promise I will get all your squares done by April 10th..but just bear (bare) with me.
I am taking the 3 fabrics I have received with me and while waiting for my son to recover from his surgery will get them done and the rest when I return.

God Bless and Happy Quilting. This swap is so much fun. It is mind boggling picking matching fabrics and choosing blocks to feature your fabric.

Hugs, Gigix12

Yes, please don't think about your quilting friends we can wait. DH needs you. Prayers are with you both.

I just posted that I will be out for a month because of my son having cancer surgery...I got all my fabric mailed but the blocks and my fun opening "squishies" will have to wait until the 1st of Feb. But all will be out by April...promise.
