I received F8's from the following: catgirl807, travelinggramma, Elisabrat, ijdugas, Jupiter, dahna42, benndm, arizonakat, alikat110, nanakathy55, terriamn, gaijin, annemixon. I received the f8's in this order and will make and return in this order. I plan to starting making them in the beginning of August. I have a few projects to finish first.
I'm still debating on my fabric, do I want to buy new fabric or use from my stash. I so hate to use from my stash, then I don't have an excuse to go fabric shopping. LOL!!! I'm going throught withdraw from shopping. I will probably go shopping tomorrow mid morning and mail out all my fabric on Friday, if not for sure on Monday. Work and life gets in the way of my quilting.
Brat, please don't stop making your comments. You have such a positive and joking manner. I just love to read you comments. Like I love to read everyone's else's comments. I may not comment at times, but I do read and enjoy everyone's comments.

Anyone interested in an extra swap?

I have 10 so far but would like several more. I am sending out an Asian butterfly fabric I bought while living in Japan.

Let me know,

I sent out another 4 blocks this morning. Unfortunately, I can't remember who they were to and I'm at work without my spreadsheet. I try to make one block a night and catch up on the weekend if I miss one.

My GD joined in the Boom 10 swap, which, in the beginning I thought it was a good idea. She's a definite beginner. So I'm "helping" her with her blocks too. Last night I found out that she does much better with paper patterns. So for the time being I'm going to be making patterns for all her blocks she needs. She's going to end up with 4 1/2 blocks, 3 1/2 blocks, etc. I need to get her a shoe box for her patterns.

I also found that simple paper piecing patterns are good for beginners. My grown up daughter wanted to learn quilting and all she had to do was to sew on the line and not worry about stitching straight seams. Judy

I received f8's from Alikat110, benndm, catgirl807, Dahna42, elisbrat, Jupiter, ljdugas, and NanaKathy55.

I sent my first finished block from this group to ljdugas.

Nice to see some people I already know and also some new friends!

Sent out grownup to Elisabrat.

If you are the person with the crazy circle fabic, I sent yours too. I'm at work and thought I would remember everyone . . . but I'm having another episode of "sometimers".

back by popular demand (thanks for all the emails ladies). Dahna what would you like with your froggies? tropical? plain only? what colors are you hoping for? I will work on another block til I hear back from you. Cute fabric. I have only six left to work on currently but hear that there is a piece of fabric waiting for me at Jaba's house so maybe its one from this group?
azkat: I live with moretimers now. ask me something that happened a few years ago or months ago? no problem! ask me what I did with the envelope that was in my hand two seconds ago.. blank. you are NOT alone. for those who don't know what sometimers is its when you remember sometimes and sometimes you dont. then comes moretimers and it does not get pretty after that. so STOP at sometimers. it has its benefits ..sometimes
