Thank you, Lynnie. And if I am not as often lately, I know you are my #1 cheerleader and will keep the pack going! So, chatter on, ladies.

And Dotty, yes, Holidaze -- perfect!

this swap is such a great, fun idea! thanks so much for starting it!
Don't feel bad about not being able to work on your swap item till the weekend. Although I started last weekend, I still need this weekend to finish.

Did you have one in particular in mind? There's this one where the whole thing is felt:

And this one that is more quilty in nature:

Aaand when I'm just looking for ideas, I go to pinterest and do a search... this one is just for needlebooks

Oh, I don't envy you that at all. I lived up in Maryland and Virginia for 10 years before heading back south to spoil my nephew and go to school.... I still find it amusing when the south Mississippi shuts down for a dusting of snow.

lawsonmugs - I think it looks beautiful! Much better than the sleet and freezing rain most of my area enjoyed today. Of course the frozen stuff fell after we had gotten 3 inches of COLD rain.
I don't think I will be ready to mail this weekend. Its going to be next week before I am even close to being ready. :/

Argentium, the Pinterest site is fabulous! Thanks so much for sharing!

Seems as if some of the gals are stressing about not mailing this week. Hey, it's not a race, you have weeks and weeks left to send.

wow, those pics of the snow are so relaxing to look at. I love the snow too, but it can be dangerous. Luckily,
we live in a condo. the distance from our gate to the sidewalk is about 16 inches, so tht's all we need to shovel. lucky us. or neighbors have about 15 feet.
