Welcome to the doll quilt swap.
If I'm making quilts, I need a good sense of humor.
My wife and I started making quilts over a year ago.
We joined the local quilt guild with over 100 members.
Only 2 members are men! I get emails addressed to the "Ladies". LOL

Well now we know, Gladmaker, so glad you're joining our little group of doll quilts, I call them wall hangings, but whatever they are I like them. Looking forward to swapping with you sometime in the future

No politics or "politically correct" on my part.
I'll take it in stride. Quilters are generally a great group of people!

This forum is the first place I've seen them called "doll" quilts. Our quilt guild calls them mini quilts. I've made several and enjoy making them. Some, I've made as wall hangings and some as mats.

That's what makes them great to me. I have a small hanger on one of my kitchen walls that I love to hang them there, especially for the different holidays or I can use them as a table mat for my kitchen table. It took me a while to join because of the title of "doll quilts" until I took the time to really read the specs. Imagine that huh? Happy New Year Everyone! 2014 is going to be great...........

I agree Jaba..2014 will be a great year. Happy New Year to all!

Bilben and I have been in contact, so now I just need a really good idea...

Bob, I think most of us think of the doll quilts as small art pieces to be used on walls or tables as Jaba mentions. And this group does produce some really neat little quilts. Can't wait to see yours!

Yesterday and today got mine sewn, quilted and now just doing the hand binding. I had the idea for a very long time and just couldn't get it out of my head, so it was pretty easy to sew this month.
