Pink Lady,
All I can say about that Autumn pic is beeee-yooo-teee-fulll! I love this time of year! Hopefully we will get a "proper" Autumn this year. With the drought, our seasons seem to be all messed up, too...
Tlambing, I know I already said this over on the other thread, but just want to say it again, Thanks so much for posting the pic of all of the awesome runners!

(Looks around for partners......nope)

It's been slightly hectic at work this week, but this weekend is going to be more hectic. Dinner with the man's alumni council tonight, then tomorrow night a party with a bunch of big money donors at one of his colleague's homes. This is the guy with all the exotic hunting trophies, so it'll be fun to see what's been added.

oK brat fell asleep it was dialysis day. I was going to take a nap it just lasted til this morning my apologies.

Here are the partners: if I left you off please let me know asap! I will fix that in no time at all and if you just want to join if two of you do then your in otherwise I will have to ask if anyone wants to do two..

drum roll please! I tried to match you up based on what allergies first as that is most important. after that what you would like to make/receive. I may have blown it this has rarely been known to happen with me (shush up all of you). so here it goes:

CHEESEHEAD and JABA
TLAMBING and QUILTINGKRAZY
GRANDMADI and KLGS
OKSEWNSEW and CHASEZZZ
KIFFIE2413 and LIKETHEDOG
SKADUZY and ALICIAH
ONETEAPOT and DABBLER312
DUSTYSMOMMA and Mom-6

Please contact your partner and discuss what you would like to receive. We had requests for winter, Christmas and for Valentines Day. So be sure you clarify this with each other and if there is any troubles say due to lack of that type of fabric etc let me know I can possibly switch everyone around.

ps if you have already had that same partner I apologize. I don't keep lists of who sends to who on each swap. We are a small group of swappers here on the board so you will most likely have the same person many times over all the swaps. It happens. Upside is you know your partner Should trouble arrive with this for you please let me know otherwise .. if you can just go with it that would make my life just a tiny bit simpler. phew. I totally go for simpler.

Yea - partners have been assigned - oneteapot is a new swap partner for me; it will be fun getting to know a little bit about her.

Nap all you want on dialysis days - we don't walk in one another's shoes so don't have any idea what the other is going through. I logged in super late last night/very early this morning and figured something else more important came up - like maybe you took a stick to that new vehicle of yours - lol just kidding. Every time Brian's Old Ida needs to go to the garage for repairs I cringe if he asks me to drop it off and then laugh hystrically while driving it - it's such a bomb.

I'm super excited for my paper piece class that starts tomorrow - Glacier Star - I was hoping to use midwinter reds but the shop doesn't have that line - sigh; on the other hand they have all sorts of other beautiful fabrics to select from. I'll try and post a photo over the weekend of my colored interpretation of what I'm hoping to accomplish.

You all have a fantabulous day.

Kristine

Kristine, no laughing over that hunk of junk for me. full confessions on the fall swap. not going on that rant again ..sigh it takes too much out of me!

winter red? is this a line by someone?? and glacier star. oh I want one of those!!! wouldn't that make a stunning center to a round robin? soon as my round robin is over that I am running I will start another so if your interested I am sure it will be Jaba, myself and four others.. let me know and I will start a list of people who want to try one. super fun, I will be doing a faster one than most. 8 weeks between rounds not three or four months. so its a commitment. just throwing it out there it will be invite only not a posting on the quilting board, probably face book? but in pics here. this way I can help make sure we get people who will play, and not jump ship half way through. get your thinking caps on.. its truly fun!

Yay! Mom-6 is a new swap partner for me too! We'll have to touch base later this evening. Right now, I have to get back to work! "It's time to make the donuts!" Actually, I'm an accountant, so that'd be "it's time to count the donut money!"
