wow I want all of them! amazing the variety Teresa. Favorite things will be fun. Bet you will see cats, and dogs and roses and chickens and gingerbread men and all sorts of variety. Just let your partner know your absolute favorite things and well almost everything is avail in fabric or one can make one color concepted by that item. no gingerbread fabric, use that warm brown with say red and white and give the idea of a gingerbread man.. or applique one free patterns all over the computer. a fat quart is not horribly expensive if you need to buy a focal fabric for your partner.. maybe 3.00 at the MOST so have fun ladies. Ask for help or if you can NOT make the fabric your partner is hoping for ask for a second or third option its ok! look at those pictures above. all for one theme.. so much variety. wowsa!

Busy Busy BUSY!!!! Weekend! Hope everyone got all that they needed done accomplished. (not me) This was Christmas Party extravaganza weekend. Had fun seeing friends and shopping with my niece. I took her along to choose her present, that way she got what she really wanted. (she's an adult and needed clothing) All in all a very successful wknd. Just not the projects getting done kind.
I've been thinking as to what I will list as my favorite things. Lets see, today right this moment I'm thinking…..RED, Batiks, butterflies, coffee, sunshine, nature. Interesting. I'm glad my list is just a jumping off point for my partner. Although I have seen a very pretty batik in a coffee bean pattern.

Come on Brat, you'll have all of those UFO's together by Jan 10th surely! Then you can jump in and join us

if you could see my ufo pile you would get it in fact glad to send them to someone and they can quickly whip them together for me..snap your fingers and tada! instant presto sewn with binding and sashing and well just PM me and they will be in the mail to you tomorrow. I would oh so love to see that box empty. I made two centers yesterday with scraps another goal but not exactly working with my ufos was it? and today if energy hits me I will start on your rr otherwise that goes to tomorrow. Still have straps to put on a Christmas apron, new pattern, this was reversible and a harder thing for me. I can not read patterns, they drive me bonkers. takes like 4 times to get to the oh oh this is what I am supposed to be doing. I can read a quilt pattern why not a sewing one? oh sigh its the brat at her finest there lol. If I had a favorite things runner it would be grapes, wine, wine country.. something lovely for the table and well a nice theme.. or perhaps it would be holidays (I know what a shock to you all).. and how come I can not get the song la coocoo racha out of my head, and spell check please for that but its going over and over in my thoughts lol.. what a dork I am. no white Christmas songs for me. its to snow tomorrow and I am NOT happy about that one at all. oh joy snow, and ice roads and no getting out of the house again except for dialysis. if I didn't have that I would not move my bones out that door. nope.

Now I know what you forgot yesterday brat! The straps and ties for your apron...you were going to use my turner thingy. You better come back over it'll save you a couple of frustrating hours. Wine country sounds nice, I could do a mat type runner in my kitchen, if someone is fast a Valentine's day, or St. Patty's, or anything in purples, teals, butterflies and hummingbirds, and May Day a maypole would be nice or a May basket. My mother always use to make me one of those. Just No kitties or dogs here please. I wish I knew my partners wants so I could start now, hate not knowing what I need to make...and get it done.

Yippee! I'm in!!! As far as favorite things go...... oh my, have almost too many to name, but what tops the list is cats!! And raindrops on roses, kitten whiskers, coffee, wine, beer, fabric (HUGE stash), paper piecing, quilting, Accuquilt (applique), bright colors, insects, seashore, holidays, etc. and, and, and..... well, there's lots more, I'll have to think of them when my head stops spinning!

Hi! I am new to this board and to the swaps here - but not new to swaps! I am learning to quilt and re-learning how to sew - sewed bunches when my children were young, but am now sewing for a new generation. Made table runners for Christmas presents for my children, so this swap is just in time.

Thanks -
