Debbie;
I am so sorry for your loss.
Know that as you and your family hold tight to one another your QB friends will be rallying around you and offering up prayers for you and your family.

Lori-there are a few topics on here from board members about them and Missouri Quilt Co. did a piece on them.

Sheesh, we go away camping for 3 1/2 days and I come back to over 4 pages, just got caught up. Pot lucks are no fun in a pouring rain, at least it dried up by the time we got packed up to come home. And we got Ray (who is a one color furbaby, BTW) back home in one piece as the campground we went to is the one we found him, or rather he found us one year ago today.

Debbie, so very sorry about your sister, I lost my only brother 3 years ago and it still hurts, but am able to think more often about the good stuff and not so much the bad parts when he was so sick.

Lori, wonderful quilt.

To those of you who have already mailed off your packages, I borrow a phrase from Krystyna, foo!! I have several items set aside and a hand made one too, but I need some more time to assemble it carefully and choose my SP's favorite treat!! My SP is again N of me, but more NE this time, and in a state I have lots of connections (I was born there!!)

Robyn, glad you got to the quilt show sounds like fun,
Juli so sorry about the broken elbow, and rest of it. I really wish they could find a cure for your seizures...

Hmmm I DON'T want any more shoes, thank you very much.....

Ok SP, your package is ready to go out in the mail Monday. Here is a sneak preview of what I made for you. Please excuse the mess. I should have cleaned for the photo. LOL
Here is your hint. You live where it is very hot and sometimes it snows. Your city reminds me of one of my favorite videos which you can see here.

OK. Here is a tiny hint.

DH and I went for a loooong walk along the shore today by the dog park. We did NOT go to our local beach because it was chock full of crazy people for the Polar Bear Swim Before the Bay Constable chased us off because we had the dogs with us I found some very nice shells.

One of my SPs loves pretty pins and also mentioned that she would like something local ... so ... TAH DAH! It doesn't get more local than this ... since we live on a sandbar Somewhere by the Sea.
