This swap we are going to just trade all 6 blocks out. If you want a block of your own, then you will need to make an extra one. :)

Well, here's my first attempt at a sample block. This is like the second time I've ever appliqued anything, so be gentle! :lol: :oops: The eyes are buttons.

The colors are a little off (cell phone photo), but they're bright in person. :)

That was fun! It wasn't as hard as I expected. :mrgreen:

Thanks, Mariposa! I've been sitting here drawing chickens all night! :lol: Now that it's bedtime, I bet I'll dream about them, too! he he

Got one set of "Penny"s done. :) They're 6-1/2" (6" + seam allowance). I plan to make at least 2 more sets once my fabric gets here.
