That is very pretty Kelly! for a minute I thought it was the center of your rr! I was already planning on what to build around it lol.

I found out tonight we can have the place in town BUT it was so weird the chat no when would you like to come in and sign the lease it was more like we have to get a handyman in to fix a couple things so between the 27th and the 1st.. (uh you had it listed for a month why wait til now??) and then I felt like without a lease he could change his mind too yet so can we. This is the deal: we cut Oregon out of the options. So its Jans in Wyoming or the house here in town. figuring out where the work opportunities are is the big one. if its Jans we have to wait til the last day at work here which is undetermined. can't go in winter.. ahhhh. I will sew a runner tomorrow instead of thinking is what I am going to do. Let the man do this one. I think we will both be happier if its his ultimate decision. I like happier.

I'd be pulling my hair out over this. I like things to flow. When something throws the flow way off or the flow goes erratic due to uncertainty or sudden, unexpected change, man does it mess with me. I've only ever faced the prospect of moving away twice in my life. Once I was a teenager, and the choice was made for me, and man did it throw my world for a loop. The second time was when I moved away from home to here. I'd already moved out of the house with my dad & step-monster, yet here she was still trying to control every aspect of my life. (My cousin, who was my roommate, and I stayed overnight at a friend's house we knew from church, and my step-monster calls my boss and tells them we didn't come home & they didn't know if we were dead or alive, so he needed to find someone to replace me for my next shift, which wasn't until like 3 days later. My cousin, who also worked there, was left on the schedule though, and when she went to work, they didn't say a word to her. I didn't know about any of this until I showed up for work and they asked me why I was there!) I got desperate and I ran 300 miles away to get away from her. There was a time that my ex mentioned moving to Australia, just to get away from everything here, but as soon as his mom hear that & said "you're not taking my grandbaby away from me!" that was the end of that thought.

Yale is 55 miles so in Oklahoma terms that is about 1 1/2 hours lots of country roads, I live in a edmond which is a town North of Oklahoma City. My niece goes to OSU there in Stillwater. Let me know if your visiting I would love to meet up. There is a great LQS called Sooner Quilts about 45 mins away from there.

I am five hours away from my parents and its a good distance, and we live in the country so we do t have unexpected guests which is nice, I don't like people interrupting my plans for a day.

I think what I might miss most here is my park. My turkeys, deer, critters galore and the.. trees. laying on the couch after clinic I like to just look up and see the tall trees. its peaceful and the sky beyond. Good thinking time. The new house would have that out back on the deck but the bedrooms face tree trunks or the homes on either side (subdivision) and the livingroom the same way. The front windows face another house across the street. Not the forest anymore. That is what is bugging me. Got it last night. I will miss that terribly. I am sure it will be all fine. And Sikesjj your so sweet come live with me lol you would go nuts! me! 4 cats! a grumpy man! sure be right over!!! lol.. I am like you like being away from it all and love not tons of company. I out grew that when I was in my late 30's that need for all that social stuff. Group dinners and big gatherings.. I just want peace. And boy do I love my own routine. mess with that and I am off for the whole day. I wonder what today will bring? one stupid parrot runner (lmao I hate making this thing) and packing and pharmacy and post office to mail and and and.. always and and isn't there?

I live about 6 hours from the border of Wyoming. AND, if I remember correctly, it's only about another hour, hour & half to where Jan is.

Just sayin'.

You're right Kelly, I'm about 45 minutes from Laurel. Big pine trees all around my house, have deer, squirrels, rabbits, doves, no wild turkeys but we can get some decoys for you to look at brat. We're ready for you anytime if that's what you and Steve decide, door is always open. And I already know your schedule!!

I had a very busy day. Work at 8am. Had to leave at 930 to take dad to the VA for yearly check up. Back at work by 1. Work to 6. Came home to a full mailbox. I had happy mail from elizabrat!!!! If I were wearing socks, they would be off!! The colors match perfectly in my living room. I got a beautiful table runner that has found it's new home on top of my great-grandfather's wash stand, two mug rugs that now live on either side of the oversized chair (best place to snuggle-I mean watch tv with DH ) and three FQs. I have a pattern for coasters that will look GREAT using them. THANK YOU Linda.
